Article

Now you know why the Obama campaign is in full melt down mode.

Note: 10,000 people showed up in Wisconsin yesterday to see Romney/Ryan

Note: The Romney event in Florida had to turn away people this morning because it was over flowing.

Meanwhile, the President is busy packing high school gyms.

Hysterical email from the DCCC:

I just got this disturbing report: Yesterday’s Romney-Ryan rally in North Carolina pulled in an overflow crowd of 15,000 people.

There’s no spinning that number. It’s a LOT of people, and the Republican base in energized.

And that’s not all. Since the VP announcement, Romney’s campaign has brought in over 70,000 donations from his Tea Party base.

We’ve got to step up our game and mobilize our supporters — starting right now.

Donate $3 or right now to help us rally our base around President Obama’s agenda >>

Listen to what one Republican supporter said about Paul Ryan: “I love him…He’s going to excite the Tea Party and get them on board…”

We can’t let the Republicans claim the momentum. Donate $3 or whatever you can:

Thanks,

Brynne

But don't worry, the "swing state polls"!!!!

"The people were not admitted to the event after security screeners couldn't clear them fast enough"

Many of them were probably packing rotten tomatoes with sinister intentions.

No, but deraged leftists rushed the stage Ryan was speaking on and punched a Romney volunteer at the Iowa State Fair today. They were arrested, thankfully.

Retirees who fail to research what the guy is about.

Romney/Ryan isnt a bad thing for people already in the system..so current users and abusers of the current system are fine, it is those getting closer to the line and those out 10-15 yrs who will get screwed..

Of course the lower class get a club across the head and corporations get a few trillion more..so its all good.

If people really educated themselves nobody would show up to the polls for any politician, not a single one running or involved are worth a crap.

Wall,  pretty good points but.........for the sake of the Republic for which it stands, we just need folks to get educated enough to know the difference between socialism/marxism and a FREE market based economy based on individual responsibility

GOVT dependency vs personal initiative  I'll just sleep in the bed I created  Thank God for that

That's right!

Because anyone who disagrees with you politically, just isn't educated on the issues!!!

Obama complains he didn't get enough credit for being willing to cut Social Security & Medicare.

As president, however, he has come to believe the news media have had a role in frustrating his ambitions to change the terms of the country’s political discussion. He particularly believes that Democrats do not receive enough credit for their willingness to accept cuts in Medicare and Social Security, while Republicans oppose almost any tax increase to reduce the deficit.

The fact that nobody over the age of 55 will  be affected by the change will definitely get the oldsters out in droves.
Pretty smart way to get them to feel like they are contributing to fixing the country  without actually having to sacrifice anything.

Let's be perfectly honest.  in 12 years if nothing is done, Medicare fails. Period.

Something has to be done.  Hopefully we can agree on that much.

But the sad fact is that it is political suicide,  the third rail etc.
Too easy to make the reformer the bad guy that wants to throw granny off the cliff.

I (no bullshit) am impressed that Romney is making this a central campaign topic. It is the first ballsy thing I have seen him do.

Today the Obama administation countered the Romney/Ryan bus tour with Vice President Joe Biden [ My time ] who spoke before a meager crowd of 660 people in Durham, N.C., at the Durham Armory during a campaign stop for President Barack Obama ....

Presidential candidate Mitt Romney and running mate Paul Ryan — rallied a crowd of over 10,000 in High Point, N.C., about an hour away from Durham , and a crowd of approximately 4,700 people in Mooresville, N.C., about two and a half hours away.........................

According to the latest Rasmussen survey in Ohio, 51% have a favorable opinion of Paul Ryan, while 39% have an unfavorable view of the GOP’s Vice Presidential running mate.

Which is better than Obama.
