#1 Posted: 8/12/2012 2:37:14 PM i'll let you know when he starts. this is exhibit # 846452 showing that it really doesn't matter and all this garbage the candidates say is just a distraction. there are a few people running this show for their benefit and they have already bought the politicians before we ever vote on them. a lot of you guys girl about obama on a foxnews level. this is what it's about.
here's the article.
here are some highlights.
Peter Schweitzer, whose book "Throw them all out"
exposed members of Congress in both parties profiting on insider
information obtained as a result of their offices.
"the federal government has yet to file a single
criminal prosecution against any top executive of an elite financial
institution. Financial fraud prosecutions by the Department of Justice
are in fact at a 20-year low, although the DOJ explains that the number
would be higher if new categories of crime were taken into account.
As an example, the report points to Holder's
relationship with Covington & Burling, a white-shoe law firm that
represents many top Wall Street corporations, including Goldman Sachs,
Bank of America, Citibanks, Wilmington Trust, Deutsche Bank, NG, Morgan
Stanley and UBS. Prior to his 2009 appointment as Obama's attorney
general.

#6 Posted: 8/12/2012 6:40:18 PM It pisses me off when people condemn the Obama administration for not holding guilty parties accountable. News flash: The accused are partial figureheads of the entities that are really in control of this country. As if something would be different if a Republican admin was in power.
Get mad at this complete joke of an election process. It is just an oligarchy after the money has changed hands during the election process. |

that's true, silk, but i'd rip the republicans for letting it slide and the democrats deserve the same treatment. if anything, the democrats are worse. everyone knows, at this point, that the republicans are just out for the rich and the corporations and couldn't give a garbage about anyone else. they don't make a secret of it anymore. you expect it out of them. the democrats pretend to be different.
