You seem to be telling people not to drink cool aid yet you and the other paul bots on covers drink the strongest type....

If we were fighting a war where there were two armies against each other then drones would be great. We are currently fighting a war where the insurgents understand that they need to take maximum civilian cover, because even if they get bombed they will accomplish an important goal of turning the populous against the occupiers.

That's an interesting point but a ground army doesn't help that cause or reduce the rate at which civilians will not die.

There are still innocent civilians in which terrorists will use to strap bombs to as decoys.. etc.....

However I believe that drone strikes are a more proportional response to the threat posed by terrorists rather than risking American soldiers in addition to civilians that can be just as adequately used in response to a ground army.

Again though don't get me wrong I do believe that drone strikes should be closer to a last resort method in dealing with terrorist attacks.
