Story here

The Supreme Court voted 6-3 to let the individual mandate portion of the act stand.

Certainly is.

Yahoo news changed the decision to 5-4 in favour of upholding.

Another 5-4 ruling. This one doesn't matter as much as Citizens United.

January 21, 2013 after Romney has taken his oath of office, presumably before dinner, he will repeal ACA. He has said so in every campaign stop in the past 10 days: "On my first day in office I will repeal Obamacare".

Good luck with that, Mitt.

perhaps he will shaking the "etch-a-sketch" again with his plans/values/views...

seems to be a pretty consistent pattern

This is an important decision that demonstrates that the current Constitutional power granted to Congress via taxation allows Congress to coerce individuals to do just about anything. Roberts did libertarians and conservatives a great favor by pointing out the insidious nature of the current tax system and the power that it provides Congress. What we need is not a repeal of this law, but a Constitutional Amendment that prevents Congress from interfering with the right to trade - that is to participate in commerce without coercion of any sort. That fixes this problem and a host of others. It also would cut loopholes and eliminate tax "incentives" as well as force a restructuring and simplification of the tax code in general. Think of the huge positive impact that would have on individual rights and the overall business climate in this country!

Let me add, Obamacare is not the problem - it is a symptom of the problem and we now have an opportunity to fix the underlying problem. Obama (unwittingly) and Roberts have provided the opportunity to demonstrate the extent of this problem to the American public. Let's not squander this opportunity by just repealing this law - let's take back our individual rights which were turned over to Congress in the 16th Amendment.
