#1 Posted: 4/18/2012 12:00:08 PM I have no idea why the Mainstream media has not picked up this huge scandal more than it has reported. Katie Pavlich has just written a book to expose Fast and Furious, and the book is starting to get noticed. The Why is the disturbing part?????
Pavlich exposes how extreme gun-control measures have been a top political goal for President Obama, Attorney General Eric Holder and other important leaders within the administration – and she draws the lines that link this goal directly to the implementation of Fast and Furious. Just as importantly, she shows how the administration has shamelessly tried to obscure those links.
The operation resulted in the murder of U.S. Border Patrol Agent Brian Terry and the murder or wounding of some 200 Mexican citizens.
In the operation, there was no attempt to track the weapons sold, and some agents who tried to follow the purchasers were told to stand down. Not only that, but our government kept Mexican authorities wholly in the dark about the operation. Allowing these guns to “walk” into Mexico without surveillance and behind the backs of Mexican authorities guaranteed they would end up in the hands of Mexican drug cartels and only be recovered after crimes had been committed, which is exactly what occurred.

I think it should be evident from folks of any ideology that this DOJ has been a complete disaster.
The dropping of the voter intimidation case, the nightmare referred to as fast and furious, a high level employee quitting citing racial and ethnic prejudice, and an obvious evasion of responsibility under oath has characterized this disaster of a department.

The reason the media doesn’t want to warn us or talk what might happen tomorrow is for a few reasons. The first is that if Occupy fails tomorrow, the movement will become an even bigger laughingstock than it already is, which, of course, undermines its effectiveness in aiding Obama's re-election. If, however, Occupy fizzles without a lot of media attention, it's less damaged and can live to fight yet another day. The second reason has to with not wanting to give any exposure to the movement's dark side. Obama's Media Palace Guards are desperate to have us believe that Occupy is some kind of organic uprising buoyed by the fact that the rich don’t pay enough taxes or other such nonsense. In reality, though, a General Strike isn’t some touchy-feely drum circle, it's designed to bring a country to its knees and blackmail the entire nation into giving in to the Left.

After that statement a reporter asked Speaker Boehner if he was supporting the resolution (the contempt proceedings) Chairman Issa drafted against Attorney General Eric Holder.
“I’m supporting their efforts to hold those people in the Department of Justice accountable for what happened,” Boehner said. “The committee has work to do; they know what they have to do. They’re pursuing a lot of unanswered questions. And I would hope that they would continue that. All options are on the table.”
In other words Chairman Issa has Speaker Boehner’s full support to do what he needs to do to get answers about Fast & Furious. If the Oversight Committee has to hold Mr. Holder in contempt in order to receive those answers then so be it.
While I never doubted Speaker Boehner, it is nice to finally hear him actually say it.
