#3 Posted: 3/19/2012 10:32:28 AM Recorded on CSPAN2, the clip shows current Attorney General Eric Holder laying out a strategy to “change the hearts and minds of the people in Washington, DC” in how they look at guns.
“What we need to do is change the way in which people think about guns, especially young people, and make it something that’s not cool, that it’s not acceptable, it’s not hip to carry a gun anymore, in the way in which we changed our attitudes about cigarettes.

#6 Posted: 3/19/2012 2:31:26 PM Eric Holder is a stooge who's anti constitution aspirations have gotten people killed.
Literally saying that we need to brainwash children to make it easier to take away fundamental liberties puts him at the top of the list for people that need to be taken out of office.
It is about par for the course with this administration, but good luck finding a liberal that will stand up for civil liberties these days.

Looks like you're the one who is sensitive ! PROVE that he's an ALIAS.
Send the Covers Mod's a message so that they can investigate.

#9 Posted: 3/19/2012 3:08:16 PM Whats the sense is talking to the mods?
We all know that the cut/paste aliases are not held to the same standards as non-aliases...
It has been said by people against cut/paste aliases and the infamous cut/paste alias supporter that when an alias is taken down another one takes it place and continues the exact same thing...
So in the end crying to the mods is senseless...If frontrowcenter is not an alias he would simply say so... but similar to the KKroger alias he is happy cut/pasting crap and happy to be called on it...
Covers nose , I like that... perhaps I will use that in the future

You can't debate the subject and can you please let US decide if we want to buy what the OP is selling?
Its funny that you don't get the multiple hints that this activity from you is annoying as hell. |

#12 Posted: 3/19/2012 3:59:36 PM dl, You're an intelligent poster - in EVERY forum that you post in here on this site !
I think you sometimes detract from the good points you make by making threads personal and by accusing people of being a multiple alias.

#14 Posted: 3/19/2012 4:28:22 PM As a lifelong liberal, i've advocated for gun control. Why? Ive always felt that guns kill people. Ive read studies where less people are killed where there is gun control.
NOT ANY MORE.
I'm telling you that it's not about the guns, it's about the govt trying to take away your rights, I've never owned a gun and never will, but for those who do believe in your rights, IM WITH YOU. |

That's a shame... We must not have met before.
My name is Disco, and I'm your long lost liberal. The only problem is, I'm not alone, not really long and lost at all. There are millions of us out there, I guess it just depends on where you decide to look.

So you've decided to ignore evidence and side with heated rhetoric?
Sounds logical. |

#17 Posted: 3/19/2012 5:06:03 PM Disco, the NRA used to argue "Taking away your gun rights was only the beginning. They will start taking away all your rights!"
I used to laugh at that arguement. But they were right. For me, it's more about liberty than what I feel about guns.

#18 Posted: 3/19/2012 5:16:48 PM Well, Holder certainly can be expected to have an opinion on gun control and have that opinion viewed as a direct link to his overall political precepts.
However,as long as his intention is to remove the "gangsta / cowboy" wannabe image that too many of our youths aspire to is fine as far as I'm concerned.(Question is how to do this and to what length / extreme)
Although,as a responsible American ADULT, I'll be darned if I'm going to accept what I deem as unreasonable or unconstitutional rights as it pertains to bear arms.
The audacity
As far as whether I think he should resign ? I wouldn't have voted him into the position !!!

changing the hearts and minds about violence is not brainwashing.
telling kids guns are evil is brainwashing.

Good Idea. Take guns away from law abiding people and then only the criminals will have them. Great Idea! |

You said "good idea" twice! You must have been looking at the evidence - which happens to suggests as much.
That was actually my original point. Bravo |

#23 Posted: 3/19/2012 5:50:27 PM What the video on Holder shows is motive for fast and furious. Yikes. We can do better.
To me, Fast and Furious is much worse than Watergate, because somebody died. |

#25 Posted: 3/19/2012 6:31:21 PM There is no question that Holder and Obama should both be brought up for impeachment, and should probably never see a free day again in their lives.
Obama entering military action In Libya after being ordered to do so by the UN, NATO, and Arab League does not only weaken our American Sovereignty, but it is the first time in my mind that a sitting president has openly taken orders from a foreign body, and told Congress to darn off.
Holder is guilty as sin when it comes to F+F and Op Gunrunner, he has perjured himself 2 times now. The facts are on the table, but nobody has the balls to slap handcuffs on him. Hopefully when the general public gets into the meat of the story, and realizes this guy has advocated literal BRAINWASHING of children, to promote his anti 2nd Amendment agenda, and has been trying to fight the constitutional rights of citizens for over a decade, they will wake up.
But, then again maybe, we should worry about calling out aliases. |
