am thinking etrade or scottrade? but any other sites out there? opinions?

I never used etrade. I used scottrade and haven't had a problem over the close to 10 years. If you end up going to use scottrade let me refer you so we can both get 7 free trades.

I've used ameritrade, scottrade and tradeking.  They are all about the same.  I'm sure etrade is just fine.

I use www.sharebuilder.com and for options and futures I use Interactive brokers.  For solid quality information analytical tools  etc.. check out www.finviz.com..

I've been using Scottrade for a while. It's a great website; really simple to use. The iPhone app is average...but the online platform always gets the job done.
