I have played around with TVIX and DXD in practice accounts and done well but are there any better ones out there?

Also can someone that knows about these things explain to me how they work? I know TVIX follows the VIX volatility, but some times when the market is down, TVIX goes down as well.

As far as DXD goes it seems that is the 2x inverse of the DOW

In a down market, I'm usually buying up TZA (Russell 2000 Inverse times 3).

Learn about the decay in these leveraged ETFs. You just can't hold them for more than a few days - unless you are sure the market is going one way without some ups and downs.
