Looks good so far. I almost pulled the trigger on a sell at 1.2872, didn't, and 10 minutes later it's at 1.2863.... |

#33 Posted: 1/19/2012 6:17:59 PM Something to keep in mind..they are starting to chirp about QE 100 in the markets..which would mean the USD would take a hit even though relative to the Euro we are in better shape.
Its positively a potential game changer..but why we are considering another QE with the market being at 12,500 is beyond me. |

#35 Posted: 1/23/2012 12:14:12 PM Looks like all is well in Euro land, thus the 400 pip move off the lows last week or so.
Glad I got in the 1.30, it will end up paying nicely once reality settles in. |

Depends on plenty of issues mainly Greece and the US markets.
I want 200-300 pips now with two contracts.. |

#42 Posted: 1/29/2012 6:14:43 PM Eur/Chf, in that intervention area. They are going to guard that 1.2000 PEG with their lives, (and rightfully so), otherwise they will essentially be the New Japan.
i am buying near the Peg here. I see this kind of ranging in the 1.2055 to 1.2100 while we wait for a move lower, then most likely CHF intervention.
This could be a golden "Fundamental Scalp" coming up in 2012 and will be put into heavy rotation in my trading scheme.
In @1.2062 Looking for 1.2090 Stop @1.250

#45 Posted: 2/3/2012 9:15:50 PM Finally out +11 pips. Definitely not holding over the weekend. Probably one of the longest crappiest trades I have had in a while. Big week coming up for the AUD rate decision on Monday. And china data on Wed. Still looking for intervention with CHF and JPY, but think that AUD will dominate beginning of week (volatility wise). Along with EUR. |

#47 Posted: 2/5/2012 11:23:35 PM Got in a few hours ago. Short aud/usd Starting to creep down @ about a .0025 ATR on the hour somewhere north of .0110 on the day. Macd SMA cross on hr chart ( I entered a bit before @ 1.0758) have a short term trailing stop that just passed the break even point at 35. Still looking for a hundred pips or so before news Mon night. Hopefully anticipation of rate cuts and these longs exiting will get my target. Not going to get greedy on this one planning on exit before NY close. Maybe even London. |
