Missed earnings quite a bit but the guidance looks decent.  Any thoughts here?  Buying on the pullback?  Shorting the stock?  Anybody have to balls to short Apple?

Apple will be 450 in three weeks.  You don't want to short this stock going into the christmas season.  Yesterday was a hiccup and a weak one at that.  Shorting aapl is a recipe for disaster.  Especially when apple is buying it's own stock right now.  over 75 billion in reserves could make the stock jump in any day when they are issuing buybacks. Also the stock split and dividend is coming soon meaning more public money will be buying shares.

cheers

Shorting this stock is too premature IMO.   I saw where they missed estimates... but get this, the iPhone 4 is off to the best start of "any" of Apple's previous iPhones.   That portends to a mighty big pop when those earnings come due.

cut this one loose ... not gunna fight this new bull market.  given historically 3 of 4 stocks follow the market ... i'm not a shorter in this no more.  too many long positions to consider.
