Hi all:

Looking for a soild Forex Broker! Please comment if you
know one.
I am researching through forexpeacearmy.com
and was ready to go with forexyard and then AvaFx BUT Both came out poorly though with user feedback and stuff!

forexpeacearmy is great and FREE website guys and I mean REALLY GREAT!)
Tells you scam brokers/software, user feedback for the world of FOREX!!!!!!

Anyway, DOES ANYONE HAVE A GOOD SOLID BROKER?
#1 Top priority = Quick "NO HASSLE" Deposit and MOST IMPORTANTLY WITHDRAWAL!

#2 No transaction cost other than spread. I think most now offer this right?

#3 Good Reliable No downtime software

#4 Easy to contact customer support

If you recommend me a broker and it passes the tests with my research you will get a referral bonus from me (and since I will be making a significant deposit (not a micro account!), it should be decent!

Sincerely and thanks in advance,

Diverron

Ron,

I like the platform for both and neither has been an issue in any way regards to downtime or execution.

I dont need a referral bonus, what we do here is try to help each other..the last thing I want is a bonus for helping someone.

buck:

Thanks! I hope to start things very soon. Researching
things now.  I will check out and do research on Forex.com
as well and tell u how it goes.

I did some research earlier on FXDD and was surprised to hear quite a few negative things about it but it was in like 06 and 07 with mostly technical stuff and/or from people that did losing trades their fault and blamed broker for one reason or another
(Still filtering on FXDD). Forexyard failed the review after researching them for 2 days. Anyway, I am researching brokers "extensively" before I deposit the kind of $$ I will deposit.

michael,

So why do you think fxdd is well above other firms? And why does FXDD not have a Level II system like Delta?

I am a member at FXDD and Delta has better spreads, more products and Level II, even with their L2 fee the spread difference makes them cheaper, plus they carry more products and pairs than FXDD.

Also, in your opinion what main reasons do most fail trading the markets?

Exactly the feedback I got as well with FXDD.I am havin a VERY hard time with talking with brokers as well. Each one says tehir product is better than anyone elses and lie through their teeth to get my $$$. I opened up a practice account with forex.com like 6 months ago and the dude "RAUL" just stopped calling me last month. He wanted my $$ sooooooo bad.

Your question about why sooooooooooooooooooo many forex traders fail has really got me as well. All the brokers wanting you to fund forex accounts just paint the rosiest pictures!! Not a mention about a 95% failure rate for FOREX TRADERS! that's right: 95% LOSING MONEY IN FOREX! I have not funded a live account to date and am really thinking about doing so. An old floor trader from CBOE told my dad that only about 5% of forex traders make $ in forex. Most everyone wasting their time and money with forex. He said the "REAL" traders that are making the coin have  million dollar account and go less than 1:1 on the leverage. He told my dad not to waste his time in the forex market a while back unless he wants to get chewed up like a 1000 hp grinder. Weird?!?! Anyway, I like challenges and hope to trade live int he forex market within the next year.
What really frosts my behind is many FOREX broker and ALL the FOREX software vendors tell  you you will make $$$$ in forex hand over fist at least 20% return monthly conservative trading blah, blah! Unbelieveable DECEPTION and it's not just one vendor, it's ALL of them.
I will be doing more demos for a while. Frankly I am scared shitless of live money forex without doing "extensive" demost!

Wallstreet - When it comes down to choosing a broker you really must go with who you trust. Do you trust that the broker will do the right thing for you and will always be there for you when there are issues? Do you deal with a representative who responds to your emails and calls in a timely manner? For the most part all brokers (I shoud say MOST) offer the same product. We are competing for the same business and in order to be above the rest we must offer superior customer service (which I beleive we do).

FXDD does offer an ECN type model platform called Currenex. We have extremely tight spreads on this platform and we offer fractional spreads. If you would liek a demo of this paltform pelase visit our site and go to Power Trader demo. Please let me know if you have any questions about this.

Many people fail in the Forex industry because of a couple of different factors. When trading the Forex market many individuals decide to jump right in without understanding how to trade and hwo to use the platform efficiently. This is a huge mistake. You should at least paper trade for a couple of months before attempting to trade live. We offer a lot of free resources to teach hwo ot trade in the Forex market. Just like anythign else in life you msut commit time and energy in learning to trade before you go live. I believe the number one reason why people lose money is because they treat Forex as a get rich quick type of scheme. Cleints tend to over-leverage themselves and get into trouble real fast.

Please let me know if you have any questions about any of the products that we offer.

On the powertrader comparision chart it says that real time charts are not available and stops are not available.

Are you able to combine the benefits of Metatrader (which is what I chose and use) and the ECN features?

Without charts and stops I think that is why I went with the MetaTrader platform.

It would also be nice to see spread examples in your comparison charts, Delta gave that info without needing to open a demo acct.

That all said, Ive been happy with FXDD, especially the charts from the Meta platform. The spreads are tighter in the Meta platform than most all other brokers I compared, but not as tight as the Delta..so I use the charts from Meta and the ECN from Delta.

For example:

EUR/USD - 0-1.5 pips

GBP/USD - .8 - 2.5 pips

USD/JPY - 1 - 2.5 pips

USD/CHF - 1 - 2.5 pips

GBP/JPY - 2.5 - 4 pips

Also, there are charts available on the the platform and stops as well. We are in the process of updating the Power Trader part of the website and the comparison chart as well.
