Daniel Day Lewis is one of my favorite actors and he always makes the most out of the roles he plays. Infact he becomes the person during the shoot of the film.

Here is an interesting piece about the method acting he has done for each movie. To say he is pretty hardcore would be an understatement.  What an actor.

seen Lincoln yet? his portaryal of President Lincoln puts make Bill the Butcher" look average (although it WAS an excellent part for him). definately one of the greatest dramatic actors of this age.

I always heard that Westley Snipes is a method actor too.  Of course not saying that Westley is nearly as good an actor as Daniel Day Lewis but just point it out.  Also, heard that Westley was on freaky dude to be around during the filming of the Blade trilogy.

Right, TWBB was one of the greatest acting performances I have ever seen. Daniel is a huge actor and every movie fan should be grateful they have lived to see him perform. Congrats for this third, well-worthed Oscar.
