A buddy of mine that's 68 going on 16 dragged me to see this "movie" last night after I lent him $356 to replace 2 tires on his Mercedes that the nylon cord under the rubber was wearing through on one and the other is just bald.

Let me say this was the worst movie I've seen in the last 20 years. The body count had to be in the hundreds. Now, I'm not one to be critical of violence in movies, Scarface, Goodfellas, Pulp Fiction are some of my favorites, but this movie was ridiculously over the top with the violence.

Then I see today that it's number 1 at the box office for the weekend. Says plenty about our culture IMO if this movie is no. 1.

sounds like the "Resident Evil" is your buddy. owns a Mercedes and can't afford tires? LOL!!!

He's a piece of work. Good guy but irresponsible as hell. 6 weeks ago he was telling me he was buying a new 50" tv. I told him to buy a 60" at Costco. They had one on sale 60" LG plasma for $899. He buys it and a stand. Mofo's tires are shot and he's buying a TV? He's on SS and has 2 roommates he's making a dime a month off of. He already stopped paying for a 4000 sq foot house that the mortgage company blinked on a refinanced it at 2% for 40 years. His payment is now $700 (which remarkably enough he's paying). He just secured his 3rd revenue stream of long-term disability Friday that'll he'll be paid through 70 years of age. I've come to the conclusion that I'm doing this life thing all wrong.

I go to Discount Tire on Wednesday and pay for the tires and tell him there's gift certificate there for him (that's how this works in case you ever have to buy tires for a buddy). Thursday on way home from work I call Discount to see if he got over there yet. Not yet. Friday I call again, he still hasn't went. I put a deadline in my head of Tuesday, I get my money back if the tires ain't on the car by then. He then tells me he wants to meet me at the movies after the tires are put on Saturday and I fall for "Resident Evil". F'ing evil is what it is alright - all the way around.

I get my money in a month or I'm going to have a slightly used 60" LG Plasma:) Thanks for letting me vent Rat.

Thats a real tired horse as that must be Resident Evil 5 or maybe 6 if you count the video game. In the first one or maybe 2 also there was nudity at least.

I'm glad you like it RJ, every word of it is true, you couldn't make this garbage up. 

Every time I start writing about the trials/tribulations with this buddy, it becomes a comedy. He's got a great heart and he volunteered to be with me when my Westie Angel has to be put down (which is coming soon) so I do have a special place in my heart for him but man some of the b.s. is amazing.

yeah I was a fan of the video game, but damn they killed this adaptation even more, I guess I didn't expect much but such bullshit movie was a damn 3/10
