Hall of Fame Joined: Aug 2004 Posts: 27912 Location: Denmark	#1 Posted: 8/22/2012 6:53:31 AM So that americans did a remake of The Killing, and it failed because they messed with the plot when they tried to adapt it to the us market. Now they are at it again with The Bridge. In the danish series, the main story is about a body who has been found on a bridge, put there by a truth terrorist (TT) , in the us remake it will have something to do with drug cartels. Another fail! Link Here is another example of a remake that will not work if it is being adapted into USA politics. Its to different compared to Denmark link

Once the case was solved at the end of season two there wasn't anywhere left to go with it. If you make a season three you are starting all over with a whole new plot. I liked it.

There is a second season of the danish killing that has been aired, and the third and final season will air this fall.
