#26 Posted: 4/17/2012 9:29:26 PM Horrible Bosses Had the potential to be a 10 out of 10 but it just didn't deliver the goods.I gave it a 4 out of 10.
The Broken I have to watch this 1 again since I was constantly interrupted by my girlfriend. What I did see was pretty dam good ,but not as good as what my girlfriend was doing to my balls and cock

#27 Posted: 4/21/2012 4:07:11 PM MONEYBALL: Very enjoyable but I had to ignore the fact that the A's never won garbage because they had awful fundamentals, the movie NEVER mentions Hudson Mulder and Zito as reasons they won. Also Boston didnt win in 2004 because of "moneyball" they won because they had a $125 millon payroll.
Very good movie though

Very good movie though
agree. very well acted movie and interesting story, esp for baseball fans, BUT probably could have cut 30 minutes off it with NO loss
Man On the Moon (1999) DVR'ed last month and finally got around to watching. Jim Carrey as comedian Andy Kaufman. started kind of slow BUT picked up. some "page thru" in spots where they just kept "going on" about Kaufman characters but overall a well acted and interesting biography
Colombiana (2011). just happened to catch on Starz last night. VERY good action thriller "revenge" flick with a similar plot to the 2011 "kill the bad guys that killed my family" Hanna BUT with MUCH more action and better acting by Zoe Saldana in the title role. definately worth watching . OODLES of ordnance and kung foo. definately recommend

#43 Posted: 4/28/2012 12:49:05 PM Gloria (1980) watched it because it's a "predecessor" to the 1994 Leon (aka The Professional) which has the same basic plot line of a preteen who's family has been murdered by the mob being taken in by a tough mobbed up adult only in this movie the child is a boy and the adult is a "gun moll" woman.
it's NOT anywhere CLOSE to Leon (The Professional). the 1980's "modern jazz" music used is just plain annoying as is the kid "Phil" who I was hoping the mob guys would KILL he's such a whinning little girl.
Gena Rowlands in the title roll was nominated for a Best Actress Oscar and I can't figure out WHY. took me 4 views to get thru it with a LOT of "skip thru". I have never figure out WHY Rolands husband John Cassavetes was considered such a "cutting edge" director back in the 1970's and 80's
John Adames, who played the kid Phil was SO bad he tied with Sir Laurence Olivier for the Worst Supporting Actor "Razzie" award of 1980. it was his ONLY film role EVER (Thank GOD!!!)
not worth watching even to compare to Leon. don't waste your time. can't understand WHY this wreck got such "hype" back in 1980. just the music soundtrack is enough to drive you out of your MIND. |

I also just watched this finally. Watched it on a plane on a tiny screen with crappy headphones, and I loved it. Not a baseball fan either.

#46 Posted: 4/29/2012 2:58:13 AM Larry Crowne Got a lot of bad reviews but I thought it was a pretty enjoyable movie. Tom Hanks n Julia Roberts were both good in it. It had a good story and was funny at times

This movie was posted here once before so I downloaded and watched it about a year ago. You are right that it was more than just a slasher movie. Decent story to it also.
If I've watched 50 horror/slasher movies I'd rate it at maybe 5th or 6th best.
Not sure if anything can beat Human Centipede 1 and 2 or the 2 Hostel movies.
Just downloaded this movie...... LINK.....supposed to be good. |
