#26 Posted: 3/10/2012 3:02:38 PM watched Fade to Black (2006) with Danny Huston, the son of the legendary John Huston and half-brother of Anjelica, as Orson Welles. VERY well acted murder mystery set in post war occupied Italy where a down on his luck Welles is acting in a B-movie. lots of dangerous political twists associated with that time in Italian history. Christopher Walken good as Brewster the US Govenment man working to make sure the Communists don't win the 1st Italian post war election at any cost.
it's on Showtime 2 (HD) again Wednesday March 14th @ 2:10 pm eastern time http://www.sho.com/site/movies/movie.do?seriesid=0&seasonid=0&episodeid=139186. I think it's well worth watching or recording
this film is NOT to be confused with the 2004 Jay-Z "documentary" by the same name. |

Loved to movie, was pretty good. I like the two guys in the movie
Not like that, lol, but they are two of my fav male actors, add the chick from zak and miri make a porno, and some super hot latina chick, plus the plot of the movie and everything was pretty good. 8/10. Watched it on kickasstorrents, was a cam but wasnt bad at all. I like using my headphones on cam movies and I hear them perfectly fine. |

#36 Posted: 3/20/2012 12:44:45 AM Just watched Troll 2, and "The Best Worst Movie", which is a documentary about the making of the movie and the supposed cult following. I feel sorry for anyone that has seen Troll 2, including myself...it was horrible The funniest part about the documentary, is the director of the movie doesn't think he made a steaming pile of crap
Both are available on Netflix for anyone interested |

#41 Posted: 3/22/2012 3:53:33 PM I watched 21 Jump Street, and I found it very funny. The car chases were great, the first against the motor bikes and then the chase with the 3 stretched limousines & firing out of the sun roofs.

#47 Posted: 3/23/2012 1:15:18 PM Shutter Island----really badass movie, but I hear its better the 2nd time you watch it.
Girl With the Dragon Tattoo----really awesome as well, kept you on your toes so to speak. Might have been just a tad too long, I wish the girl with the dragon tattoo would have gotten together with the main character (can't think of his name). But other than that, it was a really good movie.
Moneyball----Very disappointed with this movie. Not sure why but I guess I thought it was a little slow...I thought Brad Pitt was okay, but thought Jonah Hill played a very good role and did a great job. Kinda surprised it was nominated for so many awards but understand why it didn't win any. |

#49 Posted: 3/25/2012 12:41:53 AM Watched Hugo yesterday...was a decent flick. Not sure if it deserved picture of the year though. (Thought Girl with the Dragon Tattoo was better). But entertaining for sure.
Just watched 50/50...good flick, even though I don't think I would consider to be a comedy. More of a Drama imo, but it was good and the therapist in that film is basically my dream girl. Definitely not a bad movie. |
