At +3000 this the best overlooked value to win best picture.
Buzz with voters- they love this little nostalgic film.
Allen hasn't taken home a best picture since Annie Hall- he's due.

The Artist is good- but a bit of a gimmick.
Payne has many years to come.
Moneyball is fine- but comes up short.
The Help? Ugh.
Hugo could take it- but I think they may split the vote

Scorsese best director- but Allen will win Best picture.

And Quentin Tarantino has it listed as his #1 film of the year.

If you're looking for a dog to pick after tonight it has to be "The Help". 
Though as this points out, it's still quite a long shot.

a lot depends on the campaign from here out.....

that's how Shakespeare in Love and Crash won..


the director of The Artist won the DGA award.....

so that it makes it the one to beat,,,,


the post above me might be right about The Help .....voters will maybe start to think back about that movie

Last time I checked The Artist was -400
Midnight is still +3000 
I actually locked it in early at +3500 for $20

other awards should not factor into it. 
I know some film critics and they tell me- the Academy likes to distinguish itself and not just follow the pack.

Midnight is still best value

Damn- they just updated and Midnight is +5000!!

The Artist went to -600
I guess they expect Weinstein to buy himself another trophy.

side note- Descendants went from -200 to +500 I even think that's a better value.

If I make some good hits this week on my real wagers- I just might have to spread more on these values fun picks.
