what is wrong with coliard or hathaway? neither is outlandish but they are subtle hot which i think goes with his trilogy of batman. |

yeah this is it....one of the best trilogies regardless of the 3rd one which looks really good

The last three “hot” female lead actresses in Nolan’s movies:
Marion Cotillard
Maggie Gyllenhaal
Anne Hathaway
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, but personally I don’t think any of those women are Hollywood movie hot. Gylennhaal isn’t even close.
I’d still tap Cotillard and Hathaway if given the chance though. |

#11 Posted: 12/22/2011 7:28:04 AM The funny thing is Nolan cast the incredibly cute Katie Holmes in Batman Begins and the smoking hot Scarlett Johansson in The Prestige.
It was right after The Prestige that Nolan started casting underwhelming woman for the “hot” female lead.
Personally I think his 300 pound wife walked in on him banging a 21 year old Scarlett Johansson   and told him if he was going to keep making movies he couldn’t hire any more hot actresses.
He then promptly hired THIS WOMAN for the “hot” female lead in his next movie.  |

Assuming you are a heterosexual male you are definitely in the minority.
Not many guys were onboard with the three male leads fighting over and/or talking about how beautiful THIS WOMAN is in TDK.
I mean come on, a young pretty boy billionaire and a young pretty boy DA fighting over a woman that is, at best, a 6?
It’s a shame too. An actress like Rachael McAdams would have been perfect for that role. Oh well, the human version of Droopy Dog works just as well for the “sexy female lead.” |

Yeah, I’ll definitely still see it. If it’s half as good as The Dark Knight it will be worth watching.
As far TDK goes: it’s like a Ferrari that’s painted green. It’s still a badass car that handles and runs great and is fast as hell, but with one simple change it could have looked a lot better.
I just have no idea how a director/writer/producer could go from a 21 year old Scarlet Johansson as “the hot female lead” to a woman that is average, at best, for “the hot female lead" in his very next movie.
I don’t think I’ve talked to a single guy about that movie that didn’t mention how much they hated the “droopy eyed chick.”

The movie was still great, but it definitely wasn’t as good as it could have been because of her.
It was just so annoying and occasionally distracting to have the 3 male leads either fighting over or talking about how beautiful a woman is when she is, at best, a 6 by normal standards and a 2 by “young attractive female lead” standards.
It would be like two super rich guys that could have any car they wanted fighting over a beat up 1995 Honda Accord.
