Arthur Christmas.....7/10

went and saw it with my family (tradition around this time) and thought it kind of dragged on, but had some really cool animation.... also had some funny parts and thought the story's plot was pretty good.... recommend it if you have any kids to take see it.

The Debt

Helen Mirren is always great. More a drama than a thriller though.

watched Unknown (2011) on HBO last night. GREAT suspense-action drama with Liam Neeson, Diane Kruger and Frank Langella. lots of "plot twists" and a couple of excellent chase scenes. starts out kind of wierd but quickly picks up the pace. pretty much non-stop action.

it's on HBO2 west again tuesday @ 1000 am pacific time. definately recommend

Margin Call.

Thought it was pretty good but I don't see how some critics are labeling it as the best Wall Street movie ever.

have to admit it was a "wildass" plot though, NJDevils. I had NO idea what the hell was going on until Frank Langella's character appears. one of the best "suprise ending" dramas I have seen in years.

btw, for those that haven't seen it it's on wed 12-8 on HBO again @ 9:00 am pacific

sucked

same thing as first one by 25percent as funny.

if it were not for ken jung or whatever this movie would be downright terrible.

Super 8.

I liked it. Had a Goonies quality to it. And everyone knows The Goonies is the greatest movie ever made.

The Mechanic (2011)

decent remake of the 1972 Charles Bronson - Jan-Michael Vincent classic. lots of ordnance, hand-to-hand fighting and "garbage that goes boom". worth watching BUT not one of Jason Statham's better movies. kind of dragged in spots.
