Love this show to death...and it was one of the rare shows that was truly GREAT from start of season 1 to finish.

Loved the final show....hated who had to die (won't ruin it for those who want to see it)

The first few seasons were great.  However, after that it slowly started to go downhill, IMO.  After the season finale where Shelia started the house fire I stopped watching.

I might give it another try one of these days.

I agree with StraightShooter.  The season finale where Sheila started the house fire was a turning point because it was the first sign that there was a weakness in the writing. It was the second finale that ended with a fire.  OK - it was a show that fire played an important role in so I easily got past that.  This last season was so weak it was a disgrace to the fantastic job they did with the first two seasons.  The first two seasons were brilliant from beginning to end.  I especially liked the season ending music montage segments.  They were fantastic.

Unfortunately, this show became a prime example of a show that ran it's course.  It was time to go - the writing became weak and it was as if they gave up during the last season.

Used to like it, but it became a goofy, male soap opera a few years back.  I haven't believed a minute of it in years.

It got bad when Leary had more input in the writing .

The shooting behind the bar was a friggin moronic storyline

Not really sure what happened last night in the beginning. I passed out with a bout 10 minutes left in the previous episode and never finished it. I was sparking up a bowl of weed and saw in the previews there was a bad fire. Next thing I know Lou is giving a eulogy and there are 5 coffins and none of the other main characters were around so I assumed they all died. Next thing I know Lou is the one who died and all of them are alive. What'd I miss?
