Yea. I had a few meet and greets. I met Mookie Wilson and Todd Zeile at a camp once. You got to get autographs afterwards. When I went into a store to get some cards of Mookie Wilson so I could bring to get signed, the guy looked at me like I had 3 heads. Luckily...he had some.
Then I got suckered into seeing Chad Pennington. $250 to get his autograph on a ball. That was literally the worst money I've ever spent. I don't even have the ball anymore. I think I sold it for like $10 when I moved. BUT...it also had Brooks Bollinger's autograph on it too (Chad's backup at the time). |

#727 Posted: 1/9/2012 10:54:19 PM I also met Bud Harrelson at a bank opening. He signed a few pictures and one of my Long Island Ducks hats. Still got that. |

Some of the best times of my life was when I was around this age.
So that was Orton when he was BIG doing roids lol
I've met a few but my best story is the Rock..... PPV at our local venue, we used to wait outsdie after and watch them drive away. So stupid but when we were teenagers we though it was cool. We waited, no Rock so we walk to the car.
See a small crowd and ask what they are doing. They said the Rock is coming out in a minute so we waited too. He came out, there was about 20 of us screaming to him. He waved us all over and signed autographs on our tickets, so cool. I still have it today.
My one buddy touched his arm and he said "wow", Rock looked at him and smiled then flexed. My buddy said his arm was seriously like rock solid. |

Well...it was Orton when he was "dating" Stacey Keibler.
These stories are always fun to look back on. We act so differently around famous people. Especially people who, like The Rock, are guys we absolutely love and are huge fans of.
If he thinks the rock's arm was strong back then...imagine what he's like now. Dude's JACKED.
I had a couple of stories. Judge me all you want...I'll take it.
So, growing up, I was always a huge jersey collector. I have over 300 jerseys. When I went to see John Cena...I wore, God help me, a Nomar Garciaparra jersey. He said "you got balls wearing that here". Alright...I no longer have that jersey...but that was still an awesome moment regardless.
Also...when I saw Nidia (she was with Jamie Noble at the time), I gave her my book that I have a bunch of signatures in. She must have seen it before because after she signed, she flipped the page to where Noble was and drew a heart with an arrow threw it on him. Just those little things are stuff I remember. |

Yea. I tried to get out of there but my mom insisted that we wait the 2 hours. Even worse was I had to see him through security guards. I had to give the football to someone, who gave it to Chad, who had to give it to someone else to give it back to me. Stupid garbage.
I refuse to ever pay for an autograph again. I remember when Joba was a rookie. He was signing autographs at an ice cream shot opening that was sports themed. Now this was his rookie year when he was Joba The Great. I didn't waste my time going when I heard it was going to cost as much as it did. I don't even remember it but I just knew it wasn't worth it. |

I KNOWWWWW. It was so long ago and, at the time, I was a bigger wrestling fan than I was a Yankee fan. Spare me. |

Those are cool mini-stories. I like stuff like that.
I met Crimson at the recent TNA event and made him laugh when I said "it's nice to see you representing for us gingers"
I got Kurt Angle to laugh too, I said "no way you're 230 like the program says", he laughed and said "yup, I'm luck if I'm 200 now"

#740 Posted: 1/9/2012 11:15:54 PM everyone knows hes huge on twitter.
So he tweeted they were flying to the Sheraton in NJ to play the JETs week 17, 2009 season.
I told my dad wtf why not lets go.
We went to the sheraton and waited. Sure enough the entire bengals team was there.
Took a bunch of photos got a couple of jerseys and hats signed and whatever else I could muster at the time.
Then in comes OchoCinco.. he goes I'm a hungry behind N-word... I want food whats close.. TGI Fridays... Okay... who knows how to get there... I said I do.. I walked with him to his limo driver and told them where to go.
Sure enough he went there... we had a backroom for 40-50 people. The manager there had 0 idea who he was.
He paid the bill in cash 855$ Ironic and left a 500$ tip in cash.
He told us order Drinks/Liquor/Apps/Meals/Dessert Ahead of time bc he had to go back in less then an hour for meetings.
He talked to us like he knew everyone his whole life.
He took the time at the end to take one picture and one autograph per person. |

I've liked Crimson since I first saw him in TNA. His background is cool and he's like one of those straight up tough guys that I'd like to see main eventing WWE.
As for Kurt...isn't he trying to get back into the Olympics? I'd LOVE to see that. |
