#451 Posted: 12/14/2011 8:46:38 PM I feel the same way about baseball.
I'm probably not as knowledgable as you are but I'm not in the dark either.
But I do know that the more I bet on college hoops, the more I know the sport. |

#455 Posted: 12/14/2011 9:11:25 PM Yea. There's one person that I "KNOW" that can test my knowledge of baseball. Hell...I expect this guy to be a GM one day. But if I'm not talking to him, I have to talk to those people who throw away all reason and just go with the "We're gonna win because we're the best" attitude as if their team will go 162-0. |

#459 Posted: 12/14/2011 9:14:04 PM What do you mean by knowledge of baseball? Baseball is really not that hard to figure out. And by going off your fantasy performances you find it EXTREMELY hard to figure out . |

They play basketball at Eastern Washington? I should rephrase on my "college basketball knowledge". I wont be one of these hot shots on covers who know evereything about every one. I play top notch schools and thats all. There is too many schools to know i college hoops and football. BCS conference games and thats it for me in both football and basketball. My adivce. Get to know the best of the best the best you can and concentrate on that. Honestly how much do you actually know about the teams? When the games over will you think to yourself wtf am i doing betting these shitty behind schools i know nothing about? If so i suggest not playing them. You need to know the players. You need to know the matchups. 2nd chances are huge for me. How many does a team give up. How many do they get. If your telling me a team is going to get 10+ extra possesions throughout a game and is a small favorite or dog i will be on them all day. See todays Cinci game. No doubt in my mind they would DOMINATE all phases of that game. |

#465 Posted: 12/14/2011 9:22:51 PM Seriously though i would be more than happy to let you know what my opinions are on the big school and big programs in small conferences (Butler for example). In the mean time LETS GO VOLS . |

#466 Posted: 12/14/2011 9:23:44 PM I find myself winning bets on the smaller schools than I do on the public ones. |

#468 Posted: 12/14/2011 9:28:31 PM Like my biggest winners this season have come from Cal State Fullerton, Oral Roberts/Arkansas Little-Rock Under and UC Davis/Hawaii 2H Under.
I've also bet UMass, Fresno, Fullerton again, UNLV and Kentucky this year. No bets on the Dukes, Carolinas, Ohio States etc. Rarely do I have a play on the bigger names. |

#469 Posted: 12/14/2011 9:29:56 PM Ok college basketball guys, what's up with Stanford? They've been my team for along time and their fall from grace had me waiting for them to step it up. Is there any hope for the program in the near future? |

#472 Posted: 12/14/2011 10:04:56 PM I'll say this........ Manram in college basketball.
-FACT: Top 5 in every NCAA pool I've seen him in within the past 3-4 years. -sidenote: I'm always at the bottom lol, I always pick a random team to win, thinking that if they win I'll win the pool
Plus....no offense to all of you guys, but we've been doing Fantasy sports leagues for about 1 year- 1/2 now....Manram and I have been doing leagues with friends locally for years. He's the only one that keeps with me, we dominate all the leagues.
-I also want to add.....this past football/bastball/basketball season was the first year I didn't have internet at work. I have it now, so my fantasy performance will come back to where it belongs. |
