Oh and furthermore.....do you think every footballer is as thick and dumb as Tandy to try and put thousands on thousands on an illiquid betting market which would result in a major flag?

"Smith refused to be drawn into criticising the referees for their performance, with the Roosters appearing to be on the harsh side of many close calls."

"They tried to square it up a bit at the end when we were 40 points down," he added.

"We got a couple of penalties at the end that I don't even know what were for."

your knowledge of sports betting in the US compared to Australia is embarrassing.

A bunch of guys, with the combined IQ of a pile of dog garbage, conspire to fix games, and only 1 has ever been caught and a grand total of zero have seen jail time

yep, it all makes sense

just friggin man up and take your losing bet on the chin.

Therefore, according to your theory, the Roosters were even more the wrong play tonight.

Use your theory to your advantage.

Would be much more easy to shade calls the Storm's way since everyone expect them to win, etc.

So why did you take the Roosters?  There was no reason to, according to your fix theory.

I don't get it.

Fix or no fix, the play was the Storm.

If you believe no fix, I don't need to explain why you would take the Storm.

If you believe fix, read again above to see why the Storm was the absolute play.

Either way, the Storm was the play.

So no need to split hairs on whether match-fixing is happening or not.

THE STORM WAS THE PLAY EITHER WAY!

What does US sports betting got to do with this?

I simply said Tim Donaghy was betting on games for years and years and years, he was calling games so his tickets would cash in.

For years and years Stern and his crew had no friggin idea and still to this day would have no friggin idea if it wasnt for a piece of good fortune that the FBI was investigating something else.

Yet Stern has the hide to come out and say no other refs are cheating. How does he know? Did he catch Donaghy? No he didnt, so why have any confidence in the NBA's internal controls and compliance f they never caught a ref who was cheating for years.

The same for the NRL, you are trying to compare the NBA to the Donkey Gallop and his team of 2 to detect that corrupt Archer and his friends?

I dont care what any of you guys say.....A number of years , i am talking about 8 years ago an NRL player called his best mate (who i worked with) and told him to get on for him. The guy i worked with came to me because he didnt know a thing about betting and everyone knew i betted on league....Say what you want, but until you saw us collect cash off the player and go down to the local TAB and place the bet with the market being suspended the next day was pure gold.......

Gallop and his donkeys are as incompetent as they come......

So, because Rostos continues to ignore my post, I'll finish with this:

Every thread he posts is either TEAM A WON BY LUCK or TEAM A WON BECAUSE IT'S FIXED.

Well, which is it?

You can't have it both ways!

I will answer it for you

If the game isnt fixed, it is won by luck.....

If it is fixed, then no luck is involved.

Now reply to post 33

How convenient.

If you win a bet, it wasn't fixed or luck.

If you lose, it was fixed or dumb luck.

How the f*ck am i only finding this thread now!

Rostos i love a conspiracy theory as much as anyone but it is just too hard to rig an entire match i believe you could rig some exotics but the books keep track of every bet taken and it wouldn't be the NRL that would catch on it would be them. If referee A keeps refing the games were there is a pile of cash put on a team with the penalty's looking dodge they would draw attention too it

If you want to talk about things being rigged it's the schedule for teams like brisbane

Rostos needs a stint on the '5 in the bin' segment on 'The Footy Show' debating this argument, would be first class viewing. Rostos, Neil Evans, Glen Munsie, Cameron Smith and Steve Roach...

I would want Bill Harrigan as well........

I would ask him why he awarded the Gasnier try 2 yrs ago.....when every single human being can see he dropped it....and Harrigan has unlimited replays with a perfect angle....

His TV screen wasnt clear? Yep, lets buy that,,,,In the meantime, his family members collected the cash from their bets and used it to go on a holiday........My bad, human beings are always satisified with there pay.......

That would be great viewing. Love to watch the Footy show and would love for them to talk about some horrible calls by refs. If that was an accounting job and you screwed somebodys books up you think people would be like dont worry man just try better next time.

NO

They would be fired......
