some early leans based on the early lines....

Texans -3.0
Bengals -3.0
Patriots -13.0
Giants -3.0

...really liking the Texans matchup with the Cowboys. Ol' Jerry's gonna' want some blood when he's staring down at an 0-3 start.
Also see the Pats destroying the Bills by 30 or so.

No doubt the Texans are going to give up some passing yards to Romo and crew...but they gave up over 400 yards to both the Colts and the Redskins and won both games. Cowboys, on the road, will give up a ton of yards to the well balanced Texans offense. Cutler got the ball out quick to his receivers and scored 27 on the Dallas D in Dallas. Schaub et al. have more weapons to carve up an inconsistent Dallas D on the road. I think we'll see Dallas implode with timely penalties and play making decisions by Romo. The more I see the guy play, the more I don't like him. He made at least 3 bad throws to receivers that any good QB should hit like clockwork.

...anyway, that's my early take. Looking to drop some online $$ on this one so let me know what you think...line still sitting at -3, be cool to see it creep to -2.5 or lower if we get some backing on the Cowboys.

Have concerns about which Cowboys team shows up. For a team which many picked to go to the dance, they're playing bad. Texans look like the real deal. If the line drops a bit I'd consider placing a few pesos on it.

This week I like the LIons @+10.5 and the 49ers @ -3.5, will do a write up later.

Holy cow the CFL comes to Moncton this weekend

changing my Giants lean...going with the Titans +3.0

...Giants run D pretty porous so far. C. Johnson should get a ton of touches and put up some crazy numbers. Probably see at least one of those mega yardage runs of his.

...also looking at the over 47.5 as the BB in the Cowboys-Texans game.

was thinking of throwing a teaser in the online mix...

Texans over 41.0
Titans +10
Colts 0.5
Bengals +3.0

Man...football in 2 days guys...cmac, hurry up and post some stuff. lol

leaning pretty hard to the Bengals -3.5...you might even say it's a pick. I think we'll see a clear difference b/w a ND QB and a real one.

Strong on the Bengals pick, not so much with Titans as the QB situation seems to be a mystery. Giants D is porous however.Probably a no play for me

Most of my $ is riding on online bets...but for ALC:

Texans -2.5
Bengals -3.5

Patriots -13.5
Redskins -4.5

Cowboys-Texans over 47.5
Bills-Patriots over 42.5

...really expecting an behind whooping from the Pats today. So, laid a small bet @ 25-1 for the Pats to win by more than 36.    and a larger team total bet for the Pats to score more than 29 pts.

gl...unless you're fading me.

Man...about broke even with my team total bet, but feel like I got my behind kicked. Bills looked pretty good pounding the ball on the ground. Going to have to pay attention to their schedule...might be some money to be made against a weak run D.

Is it just me or are these MNF games better games than the usual fare we get on the weekend?? WTF!!! the Packers could have easily won this game, but 17 penalties

Anybody figure out the 49ers yet, I can't. Watching a sports show yesterday, and one of reporters kept calling the 49ers the "sexy" pick last weekend. Reallly!!!!
