If so I put together a little NBA Game / ATS results importer in excel.

Here is the link to the zip file:

https://docs.google.com/open?id=0B5dydT9Oe6JbQmRMaE9obk1LbHc

It will allow you to import NBA Game / ATS results from Covers. All you have to do is select the SEASON you want to import from the dropdown and click the "IMPORT" button. The game logs for all the teams will be downloaded to the Covers Data tab.

I already imported 2007-2008 to 2011-2012 seasons - but if you want you can clear the blue cells in the Covers Data tab and start over or add to it. Anytime you import a season it is pasted below the last row.

Lastly, sorry but the spreadsheet will only work in Excel 2007 or newer, and No Open Office  - so basically it will only work for PC's running MS Excel - sorry no MACs

Well that's it - enjoy!

This is an awesome resource! Is there any way to do this with NHL and NFL results on Covers? Thanks for the hard work!

Here's a spreadsheet of regular season games I made using your spreadsheet, going back to the 91-92 season.

https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0AuNda-p6KtRjdG1NOFVONDR3N05IaTcydzEzZU10Nnc#gid=0

If you're taking requests, setting up spreadsheets like this for MLB, NHL, and NFL would be much appreciated.
Wish I knew more about spreadsheets so I could do this myself.
Thanks for all your hard work.

Needed the data for other sports for my handicapping model - so I built the importer for all sports - seperate spreadsheets

All Sports Game / ATS past results from Covers

Here are 4 excel spreadsheet that will allow you to import NBA, NHL, MLB, NHL Game / ATS results from Covers. All you have to do is select the SEASON you want to import from the dropdown and click the "IMPORT" button. The game logs for all the teams will be downloaded to the Covers Data tab.

if you want you can clear the blue cells in the Covers Data tab and start over or add to it. Anytime you import a season it is pasted below the last row.

Nice work as usual DG!

This may be a dumb question but can the data be sorted to determine a record of DOG covers and FAV covers?  I suppose this could be done by manipulating the raw data into another sheet, maybe a summary of each team and their record.  I guess I just answered my own question.

Thanks again for sharing your efforts with us here at covers, greatly appreciated!

Hey Degen, any chance you can help me out, I'm trying to edit the macro to make it for NCAAB results.  Thanks a lot!

WOW! You delivered what we did not think was possible! This is amazing. Makes finding different systems so much easier. Thannnnkkkkk you!

I feel like starting a thread where we utilize this stuff to create some sort of super systems together and win loads and loads of cash. We HAVE to use this stuff.

Here is Degen's original sheet, modified for the major conferences in NCAAB.  There is obviously a lot of info that needs to import. This sheet will have the info from the 2015-2016 season already in there.  If you want to start importing this years data, it will take a bit (hours).....I also notice that Excel likes to hang up after importing about 60 teams data.  I solve this issue by going into the vba tab and changing the line in code to the last team downloaded and start the import again.  The line is In module 2.... URLs.Range("A2:A348"), you would change the A2 to the line where excel got hung up and it will start the import from that line so it does not "re-import" every team.
I hope this helps......GL
