#856 Posted: 8/2/2012 11:26:41 PM I guess that Cards over line was spot on. Layed up on this game, just wasn't a strong enough play to drop money on it.

#859 Posted: 8/8/2012 8:12:16 AM This strategy was 4 for 4 yesterday if you threw out the pitchers ERA filter. |

#861 Posted: 8/9/2012 8:41:40 AM A potential play today - NYY +106, Det -113. Detroit would have to come down a bit. Also, something to consider is this doesn't fit the ERA filter, as both pitchers are almost identical. So, I stress, "potential" play. |

#863 Posted: 8/11/2012 10:01:44 AM I am by no means Irage but, I believe Atl will be a play today if they stay even or become the dog. If NYM become the dog, then avoid. |

#866 Posted: 8/13/2012 9:37:29 AM Again, I am by no means Irage nor do I have access to his filters. But, based on what he has published so far, I will try and keep up this thread.
We are looking for dogs, where the favorite is less than -110. We are looking for dogs who are NOT trying to sweep the series. And we are looking for away teams if the odds are equal. Lastly, there is a pitchers ERA filter. We want dogs whose pitcher has at least a 1.00 run advantage in ERA.
Now, the last two instances where the ERA filter has eliminated a play, the play has won anyway (last nights Mets are an example of this). So, we could proceed with half-unit bets on those games.
Todays potential play would be the Nats. They are +109 right now and SF is -116. If money comes in on WSH and SF falls below -110 this would be a small bet, as SF's pitcher has a much better ERA. |

#867 Posted: 8/14/2012 6:32:17 PM Nats came in last night.
Bos and STL should be half unit plays tonight, as they don't meet the pitching filter. |

#868 Posted: 8/14/2012 7:39:16 PM I would add Col and they have the pitcher filter, so they would be a full unit play. |

#869 Posted: 8/15/2012 8:13:07 AM 2-1 last night, no one should bet on the Red Sox.
Two potentials today:
Tor, meets all filters right now.
Cin, does not meet the picthing filter at all. Buyer beware. |

#872 Posted: 8/15/2012 5:30:13 PM Keep a careful eye on Tor/CHW, CHW has now become the dog. Not sure I would recommend CHW if they stay the dog, as recent ERA shows a definite Tor adv.
Cincy is still the dog, although NYM are quickly approaching -110 and with Dickey on the mound I would recommend not playing this game. |

#874 Posted: 8/16/2012 1:02:34 PM Really last minute I know but, Tex should be a play today. -101 to -105, visiting team is a dog, and Holland has a 3.00 better ERA than Nova in recent games. |

This system is gold but, you have to be watching constantly. I swear I checked at 11:00 and there were no potential plays.
Then I checked at 1pm and sure enough Texas was good to go.
Now, there is another possible. Oakland is closing in on being a play. It would only be a half unit as this play does not meet the pitcher filter. |
