This is great idea. I will be watching. I love the DOG's. Using what line setters know against them.

You could also argue that at some books the Padres and Royals cracked the +135 threshold.
So this 'system' can even change depending on the book your'e at.

If you're at 5dimes, with reduced juice (as smart handicappers should be taking advantage of), they would have 2 extra losses with the Padres and Royals.

Trust me when I say you need a more sound underdog approach.

I like what irage is doing in his underdog thread, and I like what ADG is doing in regards to systems

I hope I dont' seem like a basher, I just don't like seeing these kind of threads, where people might come in, and blow their bankroll by accidentally hitting the downswing of these underdogs.

We're all in this together to get the bookies, and we need better discussions about it

Marlins dropped below +195 earlier today....so why weren't they a play?

I had the Marlins at 210 when I placed my bet on Washington.

KC was never a play at 5Dimes. SD was a play only minutes prior to the first pitch. Hard to monitor 200+ books in the world. If the Cover's line EVER has a game within the parameters of the system, it is counted as a play. Even if it goes out of the parameters at a earlier or later point. Covers did not have either of these two games as a play.

I like what the two researchers you mentioned are doing too. They are standup gents who are expressing their opinions thru their respective threads. Perhaps their concepts work better for you. After all, "we're all in this together to get the bookies," right?

Good Luck.

4/5

These are the numbers that I posted in the Covers contest. As the day progresses, they will change for the better or for the worse. Because of 10 games today, cutting units in half may be advisable. I will play all 10 as 1 unit plays for the benefit of this thread.

NYY   +170
Miami +138
Boston +156
Cleveland +161
CC +165
Pitt +186
MN +152
SEA +126
SD +136
Houston +134

Please note that both Houston and Seattle were +135 at one time on Covers. For the sake of keeping things consistent, anytime a game falls within the +135 to +195 on Covers, it is counted as a play within this system. Sometimes it helps, sometimes it hurts.

Good Luck.

System has been a disaster so far. It is down 17.9 units thru the first two weeks. Playing on bad teams day in and day out make it tough to get any momentum.

Good Luck.

This system is up if you eliminate betting on Houston and Miami. I'm testing using the 15-30-45-60 betting increments and up $141.75 after filtering out those two teams.

how to select a favorite team

This is a 4 game chase that the favored team chosen will cover the -1.5 run line in 4 games in which they are favored from -105 to -140.

These games do not have to be consecutive. For example the Reds may fall in the favored system one day which would be your A bet, but may not fall in it again until another couple of days which would then be your B bet.

You are getting plus money on your bets 99% of the time so even if you lose A,B,C,D bets on one team, you still may win money for the day because of other teams that you are betting on may cover.

For A bets = 1.5% of bankroll

For B bets = 3% of bankroll

For C bets = 4.5% of bankroll

For D bets = 6% of bankroll

How to select the favorite team

A. Finding the selection for the favorites is simple. Find the games where the favored teams line’s are between -105 to -140

Exceptions of the Favorite Team:

A. Do not make the bet if the current team you’ve selected has covered -1.5 run line during the current series.

B. Do not take the -1.5 run line when a struggling team, such as, the Houston Astros of 2010 comes to a D bet, (I’ll explain how to bet in a moment). But for now just make a mental note of this.

Example of + money favorite system: On 5-14-2010 The San Francisco Giants were -1.5 at +155. Since the Yankees lost you would wait until the next time the Yankees fit in the category of -105 to -140 to bet a b bet.
