#177 Posted: 3/29/2012 12:32:33 PM System #1 is still in the positive unit range if you followed since I started posting.
I back-tested til the 05-06 season and BOTH system #1 & #2 had only 1 season with negative results. System #1 was last season and #2 was in 08-09

#181 Posted: 3/29/2012 3:22:57 PM Thanks for the clarification. I should have read the system rules in post one better. I did get lucky and took LAC last night. I am following and really like the system. Keep up the good work.

#185 Posted: 3/30/2012 7:30:42 PM --the past ATS losses have nothing to do with future ATS losses or wins, its still about 50-50
--this is similar to the martinglae system which is proven to have short term gains but long term can have big losses
--the only good thing I can think of this is similar to "REGRESSION TO THE MEAN"- your probably better off fading abyone who is above 80% ATS in the leaderboard for any sport (no moneylines)
--the ONLY SYSTEM I believe in is FADING THE PUBLIC as outlined in the articles in SPORTS INSIGHTS, as they are statistically significant
--anthing you showw has too small a sample size and anyone who does research knows that this could just be chance
there are a few reasons why I seriously doubt you will do well although I wish you luck and hope Im srong except for the REGRESSION TO THE MEAN idea which is a long held scientific principle
good luck!! |

I am still confused on System #6. Do we wait for the X game or do we bet on CLE and LAL to win tonite? |

#195 Posted: 4/3/2012 4:21:52 PM System #6 says when a team has lost 7 in a row ATS then you start a 3 game chase for them to win. There is no X game involved.

It used to be 6 Ls in a row, so why not make a 1/2 unit bet tonite? If u lose, then u start with a 1U bet next game. If u win, then it's great, cause u didn't miss anything! |

#198 Posted: 4/3/2012 6:41:20 PM If you want to play a 1/2 unit, its up to you as any bet is. This thread was made to track the systems I found and maybe place bets. I personally have not played all of the games and structure my bets differently than most.

#199 Posted: 4/3/2012 6:43:48 PM For all those following I am considering eliminating System #1 starting next season. Also I might do the same research for Over/Under to see if I get similar results.

#200 Posted: 4/3/2012 8:21:49 PM I started to do research on MLB with ML's with a 3 game chase of the first 3 games of a homestand. I saw a lot of winning, but I could use some help since their are soooo many games and I have trouble gauging how much I would lose if I don't win after a 3 game chase. I would be grateful if you would help by picking a team and going back 4 years. If we all help we could make a lot of $$$!!! Please let me know! |
