#108 Posted: 10/1/2011 1:30:32 AM garbage, I knew Utah St. was tougher than their record, but the holes in the BYU squad are deeper than I thought.
Sorry Guys. We'll get 'em tomorrow with Wisky.

#109 Posted: 10/1/2011 10:32:49 PM Sept 30 - BYU -7.5 - LOSS - My bad here, I knew USU was tough and BYU had depth problems. Emotional decision. My gut told USU when I saw the initial line at 15. Oct 01 - Wisconsin -9 - PENDING - Looking good so far, WISKY is a dominating team. Oct 01 - Stanford -20 (H35) - PENDING Oct 01 - TCU -11.5 - LOSS - What can I say TCU let down. Oct 01 - Arizona +12.5 - WIN - USC struggling with injured players, they could have easily lost this game.
Looks like the best I can hope for this week is 3 - 2. Still pretty good if it works out that way.

#110 Posted: 10/1/2011 11:31:35 PM Hey irage, I am now getting all games from my local bookie but the thing is the lines are a bit higher. Could you post your picks 1-3 points away from the line you actually took? Its like I got Wis-10 and you only got -9, TCU-11.5 and I got mine at -13, Stanford-20 and I got -21.5. Something like that so I would know up to how much spread would you take them cause in my case I actually didn't mind about the line I just followed you.

#113 Posted: 10/2/2011 12:11:43 AM Don't sweat it. Stanford strong enough to close them down in the second half.
+10 right now, 2 TDs and were golden.

I would have loved to get 4 out of 5 this week, but I'll take 3.

Bookie, it's hard enough to find good lines in time for post. Typically, 1-3 points and your goo. Any more than that and you should pass on the game. As you can see most games end 3 - 6 range. Error on the low side of no more than 3.

So basically you're saying if the spread is 1-3 points off from the one you posted, I should still be fine right? But if its 3.5 points or higher then I should just pass up on it. Did I get it right?
