#1 Posted: 4/27/2011 9:59:19 PM starts this weekend! stay tuned for all details tonight. Was 74-1 last season, 76-2 in 2009. no, im not some website advertising. Has filters as well. chase system btw. some high juice. technically had 2 losses last year but stoppd before 3rd game. used a labby and martingale...depended on the outcome of a four game series first game. labby will make up for losses, so I advise using the labby. also, with the high juice in this system, you can only play one other system, if u play systems, at a time. occasionaly, i will tell u when, u can play more systems (because of bankroll reasons)
checking logs, my bad, 2 losses w/a 3rd stopped. losses were btw... texas @ all star break and padres whentheir terrential loss downpour occured. other woulda been a loss.....of course... the cubs. |

#3 Posted: 4/28/2011 9:08:03 PM Very simple system. I created this because I cannot pick winners day to day in baseball. My whole premise, or the whole premise is...get this...good teams beat bad teams more than bad teams beat good teams. I learned this as early as little league, solidified that belief in college ball.

#4 Posted: 4/28/2011 9:35:17 PM MLB RPI system in a nutshell. The RPI tends to tighten as the season progresses, so post all star game I use different numbers.
1. This is a series chase. I DO NOT chase after a 3rd straight loss in a 4 game series. IDK why, but I don't. You can if you like.
2. How to pick series. Pre all star game: check the upcoming series. We will use tomorrows games/series as an example. Check the ESPN RPI rankings.
If any team is the visiting team and has an RPI of over 50 points or more over the home team they are playing, take the visiting team for a series chase.
If any team is the home team and they have an RPI of 42 points or more than the visiting team, take the home team for a series chase.
Filters:
1. If the lower RPI has been playing significantly better baseball over the last week or so, do not play the series.
2. Losing streaks. Big losing streaks by better RPI team, dont play series.
3. Teams going in obvious opposite directions in the W/L column, I will take the series even if off a Point or max 2 on the rpi.
4. Injuries. Watch how the teams play for a few days then decide to take a series if a good player has been hurt. The Angels lost Kendry Morales and went on a 10 game winning streak last year. Go figure, so watch.
Another note, in a 4 game series, if, and ONLY if the team you bet on for the series wins the FIRST game of a four game series, start the series over the next day as a new series. Basically, wwe would be banking they will win one of the next 3 as well. |

#5 Posted: 4/28/2011 9:50:45 PM This weekends series: I also forgot to mention the top 2, maybe 3 teams I will tend to take even if they are off by 2 RPI points or so.
Det @ Cle CLE
Min @ KC KC
Tex @ Oak Tex
Pit @ Col Col
SD @ LAD LAD |

#8 Posted: 4/29/2011 11:31:53 AM Interesting. With KC in a 6 game slide wouldn't this qualify as a no play under your number 2 rule?

#9 Posted: 4/29/2011 1:49:26 PM Good observation. But, Min hasnt been playing great either. lost 3 straight themselves. plus KC seems to be a great home team so far. So, in essence, see rule #1. Both teams suck right now but someone has to win and hopefully its KC. with the higher RPI. |

#16 Posted: 4/30/2011 10:53:48 PM thanks sniper. no plays tomorrow as we won our 5 games. will be games mon & tue tho. read my first few posts. tells u all about system. real ez. Yea, wasin vegas and put a large amount on the under for padres wins...Under 75.5 wins. they are on their way. I think SD worste team in BB because no offense. They are just a great hitter and a punch hitter away from greatness though. yes, punch, sum1 who is a clutch hitter. |
