#1 Posted: 4/20/2012 8:42:41 PM I plan on gambling 365 days straight and I have recently started a blog detailing my poker results and my sports betting.
I hope this is okay to post here. I thought some Covers brothers and sisters might find it interesting.

#14 Posted: 6/16/2012 1:29:15 AM Very cool blog. Dude you should get a sales job. You would prob kill it and you would add to your life role quickly. You seem very motivated and in tune with what you are doing.
PS One thing I don't agree with is saying you're gambling every day and you're making $10 bets.
BOL on your challenge!

#17 Posted: 7/22/2012 9:57:40 PM Good read.
I like finding people who enjoy poker as much as I do. When I turned 21 in 2010. I played 49 of the first 60 days at the nearest casino (hour away)
I still play as much as I can having a full time job, which is about 10 times a month. I'm playing in a 200$ buy in 11 am tourny tomorrow.
Gl on your journey |

#23 Posted: 10/4/2012 7:24:45 AM Pete, I applaud your passion, but it is only a matter of time before you go broke and wonder why you thought you could reinvent the wheel and be a successful gambler. You are probably in your early twenties or younger, and will realize over time that you garbage away a lot of your time with nothing to show for it. |

To be honest I don't blame you for thinking that. Most people do fail. I would point out to you that I play poker with 99% of my money. The sports betting is a $10-$20 a game hobby. I have had 10 straight winning years playing poker. Poker is certainly beatable. I have had several months this year where I made more money playing poker 20 hours a week than I did at my full time, 45 hour a week salaried position. I hope I prove you wrong my friend!

#25 Posted: 10/7/2012 5:44:56 PM Where do you play your poker? 10 straight winning years is quite a claim |
