Yannick Agnel is the fav for me in the 100m freestyle now. Great relay split and clearly has the speed this meet.

Big question marks over Magnussen after that performance. His confidence would have taken a massive hit

All taken from pinnacle

Australia -5.5 over France - (-110) (3 units)

Soni to win 100m breaststroke - (+158) (3 units)

Efimova over Jones 100m breastroke - (+162) (2 units)

I'm tempted to back Agnel in the 200m. Still think it is a race between Lochte and Agnel. Sun doesn't have the burst of speed to match both of them in a sprint in the last 50m if it comes down to it.  His only chance is to take it out hard and hold on.

Still don't think Soni has shown her hand. Took the first 50m in both her heats and semi slow. Has the big match race experience over the Lithuanian girl who has come out of nowhere.

Opals and France played in a warmup last week and France won. But neither LJ or Batkovic played which meant they when in every small in that game which is why Gruda dominated for France.

Worth a shot. Will only shorten from now until the final IMO

Scary thing is she lost time on the glide to the wall as well. Could have gone faster!

what do you think of  Ye, Siwen 200IM

did you see the article in the paper, is it a media beatup or what?

it's definitely made her odds shorten thats for sure!

No my comment was in reference to the 100m freestyle where he is paying something like +350 for the win

I'm debating whether or not to take Agnel in the 200m - leaning towards passing

Yeah I read that article, not a beat up because she did swim a faster last 50m than Lochte in the 400IM medley.

200IM is actually her favored event so imagine what she can do in that

I'm on Soni -- I think she turns it up a notch and wins gold.

Are you sure about Agnel?  My book is offering 15-1.

For the 100m or 200m?

Either way 15/1 for either race is a must bet seeing as most books are offering a quarter of those odds

I like Angel for the 100m and the 200m. 200 im more worried about the chinese swimmer, but will still prob take a punt on both. Like the odds

15/1 for the 100m freestyle.  My book isn't offering the 200m free for some reason.

Soni was close but disappointed with the Opals. Looked sluggish throughout the entire game

Rod steel Good Olympic thread

I know I'm a little late to your Olmpic party but.............should have given you heads up on my hs alma mater Golden girl missy franklin!! She is genuinely the real deal. Good honest catholic girl not going to sell out for all the $$$$$$ she should take to the proverbial bank

Tall red head still wants to compete next year at the COLO hs meetBut the word is she is a REAL BEAST All 6'1" of her, bet she won't be hooking up with ANY of those other athletes in GB. Get on her now while the odds are higher to win some of her other individual events

Don't be a sucker for some of those tv commentators opinions. Another tip. that USA chick on the vault McCailey??? She will win the GOLD for that individual event undoubtedly!!

Good luck with your OLY wagers. see ya in the NFL

PS Give the 55 with the Dream teamers, they are going to go on a seek and destroy mission!!
