#31 Posted: 4/5/2012 5:16:47 AM Yep going with the Blues too. I don't think it will mater being at the Gabba the Blues will punish the Lions and you can bet Rockliff will get a Carrazo tag

I didn't get to see the game, looks like it was a pretty decisive shellacking. Not good to have your team get done like a lamb dinner, but winning monies is what it's all about.

Hope you chaps have a nice easter break

Well done.
I watched it mate. 11 goal first quarter but all the Lions goals came from luck. Then half way through the second quarter to the rest of the game they just could not score. Rockliff got tagged (not Carrots) and Merrit just could not kick straight. It took them 22 minutes to even get a point on the board in the 3rd quarter. They were obviously tired. I had forgotten about their short week but yeah it showed. Blues in particular Judd (moved forward) and Betts were doing training drills in the 4th quarter.
Simon Black just kept running and running though. What a champ

That sounds like my lions, they are damn good for covering/winning the 1Q and falling to pieces when undermanned. Now I see Black is out for a month with a hand injury. Lions are an even better fade now
Heard Voss saying on SEN that the Blues were in brilliant form and it was awesome what they were doing out there at times.
Still early in the season but I see a few a good bets to take a shot on here so I'm being a little less conservative as usual.
Hopefully Port don't fold over here as they have been prone to. Although from memory they usually match up well against the Bombers. Think they put up a decent fight but Bombers get home by a few goals.
Bombers 1-39 1u @ 2.30 (pinnacle)
Looking at the -99.5 at 9 bucks, this could be absolutely brutal. I think Eagles cover by half time, if not quarter time and end up winning by 140+
West Coast Eagles -51.5 4u @ 1.95 (sportsbet)
Crows will be far too good at home, Crows should win by about 50-60 points.
Adelaide Crows -29.5 2u @ 1.98 (pinnacle)
Richmond are rubbish. Pies have Beams and Tarrant back and I doubt Pies slip to 0-2.
Collingwood -35.5 1u @ 2.02 (pinnacle)
I like Freo over Swans but I'm not sure about playing that.

#43 Posted: 4/7/2012 5:25:08 AM Nice that my first 4u play for the season came off. But I really wish I put that other unit on the Eagles -99.5 instead of the Dockers ML

#45 Posted: 4/7/2012 6:29:57 PM Good way to pound the Eagles early in the season with the turmoil that is gripping the dees.

#46 Posted: 4/7/2012 8:51:02 PM Cheers mate, line was a bit big but it was kinda obvious at how the game was gonna pan out and was an ideal angle for a large play.
I'm gonna be berating myself all week for not taking that bloody -99.5
It's wet and windy down in Tassie, the total on the Roos v Giants has dropped a few points down to 181.5. I'm waiting for the team totals to come out, will jump on Giants TT under if it's between 50 and 60.

#47 Posted: 4/9/2012 12:18:51 AM Been awhile since Hawthorn have beaten the Cats, Cats won the last 7, five of those under 10 points. Ideal spot for the Hawks to put an end to that streak with Scarlett out. Pretty miserable day in Melbourne, very windy and some showers. It's eased off now but there's still a lot of grey clouds about so more showers are a possibility. I wouldn't be playing any overs.
Hawks in a close one, with 5 of the last 7 being within 10 points I'll take the 1-39 instead of -11.5. Doubt Hawks win by more than 7 goals.
Hawthorn 1-39 1u @ $2.25 (sportingbet)
Was thinking of playing some props

Sorry about that on my part mate. I underrated the Roos and overrated Sheedy's lockdown plan

#49 Posted: 4/9/2012 5:39:04 AM I meant the -99.5 on the Eagles Demons game at $9
Roos GWS was hard to cap, although in hindsight it was more likely to be lopsided. The dodgy BOM forecast was what made me lay off, plus the team totals were juiced too much.
Bloody Cats, behind for half a game and snatch a 2 point win in the dying minutes.

#50 Posted: 4/12/2012 10:57:01 PM Can't pass this up with the refund for less than 13 point loss. If Collingwood lose it's more than likely a nail biter. Pies are a better side. Blues off a big win and trip to Brisbane, albeit with a few extra days recovery time.
Collingwood ML 1u @ 2.06 (sportsbet)
