#1 Posted: 3/7/2012 3:41:55 PM Sir lanka has better team, they are in better form and they have the wood on the aussies, also australian captain is out. In saying that 4 units on Australia umpires will get this done Australia doesn't lose finals on home soil |

#2 Posted: 3/7/2012 7:58:09 PM I can not think of a single reason to back the Aussies today
They are up against a team whose top 4 are all in form, have had the wood over the Australians. The only negative for Sri Lanka was their fielding in the last game but during the entire tournament their fielding has been reasonable.
The pitch is the same one used on Tuesday meaning it will only get lower so whilst the Adelaide Oval has favored the team batting second in the domestic ODIs, think the toss will be a BIG factor today.
Let's wait for that before deciding

#3 Posted: 3/7/2012 7:58:50 PM Something like 24 of the last 28 ODI games played (both domestically and internationally) at the Adelaide Oval has been won by the team batting second

#4 Posted: 3/7/2012 9:02:50 PM A couple of things....Lets wait for the lineups......Malinga was limping when he walked back on the ground at night to shake the hands of the Aussies......
Rod is right, the second day of this pitch will make it harder to chase, furthermore, the pitch will be more abrasive, which will make Malinga more deadly....
Also wait to see if mathews is playing.......
Clarke out is huge, as he is one of the best players of spin...he would be handy on this surface.....
I reckon Aus will play Lyon, but he got absolutely TONKED in the dmestic final.....He got 3 wickets but they were all from great catches in the field, he wasnt troubling anyone......
Warner has come off the last 2 games, the odds are he will fail here.. |

#5 Posted: 3/7/2012 9:06:57 PM Also, can you see SL fielding like the way they did the other day? That was absolutely woeful........
They say Pattinson wont play, strange, he was expensive but looked the most likely to take a wicket as he was darting the ball in nicely.......
It has been a very very long summer for most of these Aussies, it could tell tonight... |

#7 Posted: 3/7/2012 10:04:20 PM SL win the toss and bowl first as i thought they would have and the Aussies wanted to bat. No point in having the toss really.

#8 Posted: 3/7/2012 10:11:47 PM Well rostos i think i slightly disagree with you on warner mate, he is a player who just keeps scoring runs while he is in form, really the only way they limit him is by getting a run out or he miss times a big one.
Liking hime over 27.5 runs |

#10 Posted: 3/7/2012 10:16:33 PM Yea they know that they need 300 min in order to give them a good chance to win.
That would suggest they are going to come out and score fast and go over the top.
Warner over 28.5 runs 1 unit @ $1.90
Wade over 27.5 runs 1 unit @ $1.90
