India never won a series in Aus, swept by England recently. Seems like they have more stability in the battling line up then Aus though. Still can't help but think there is value in India $3.95 to win the series on betfair....

India's problem is being able to get 20 wickets (yes even against this brittle Australian batting lineup) IMO. Both Sharma and Khan coming into this series underdone and possible not even fully fit

I probably have no choice but to kill myself if Australia lose this series,India's batsmen are all 48 years old each and there bowlers are about as good as Matt Dunning's sidestep

Matt Dunning's sidestep is underated. Especially when he's at KFC carrying his meal and someone tries to steal one of his chicken pieces.

I've never seen him swing a ball and apparently that is the reason he was brought back into the team

Hilfi has been bowling very very well this summer....

He should do well......

Depends what the track will be like, it wont be a spinning track, we know that......

India are not worse than NZ, no chance.....and we saw what happened there

Another batting collapse with is the norm these days with this team so can't be suprised I suppose

What are you talking about. Matt Dunning's sidestep make Campese look like a statue.

They say the home run derby has a negative impact on the swing of the batters, with this in mind, i think T20 has a negative impact on the technique of the batsman.....

The gap between standard of Sheffield Shield and International cricket seems to have widened significantly in the past 5 years.

Mmm been a good even test match so far. Still have India at $3.9 to win this one but thinking of laying the bet and taking the profit now. Got a gut feeling the aus tail enders might put a few more on tomorrow.....

Bet_The_House I also want to take India but I read this on cricinfo

"Day four at the MCG, more sunshine, more promise of gripping Test cricket. Australia are already ahead by 230, which might not seem that daunting until you see that in the previous 49 years, no side has chased more than 200 to win a fourth-innings chase at the MCG. India still have Michael Hussey to contend with, and their chase will, as always, depend on what they get from Virender Sehwag"

Test Cricket with India or Pakistan. Always a good reason to pull out the 12th man CD's

This target of less than 300 is a gift for India.

A gift? The highest ever chase at the MCG is 332 and as stated above, no one has chased more than 200 to win in about 50 years. India are going no better than Australia at the moment. If Australia can knock over Tendulkar and Dravid fairly cheaply, I don't rate the rest of the Indian line up to chase this total down.
