Utah. Lakers play better at staples but this teams an utter mess. Howards health hasn't been good all year, they don't play any defense, they don't rotate, they are running the wrong system for a team with this type of roster. Alot of people are quick to blame dwight and pau for this teams woes but if you truly watch this team the biggest problems are nashes lack of defense, which breaks the entire team down every single solitary defensive posession.

This is how right on your assessment it degen ...

After the game against Memphis, Kurt Rambis said if he was a scout coach assigned to break down the Lakers offense, he wouldn't know what to convey to his team because they don't run anything.

And James Worthy said they could literally go to the Parks and Rec department and find guys on the playground that are running the same stuff the Lakers are.

And defensively, half the time they look confused, and the other half, like they don't care.

A couple games ago D'Antoni, to back his decision to bring Gasol off the bench, actually said:  "we have to get smaller ...."

With that line-up?!?!

Wrong coach, wrong system for this roster and frankly, wrong OWNER in Jim Buss, who's decisions make it obvious that he doesn't have the same eye for the game his old man has.

Every now and then the Lakers will still beat teams without as much talent this season in playground games, but every time they've come up against a well coached team that plays with any kind of consistency, they lose ... and for the record, this season, the Utah Jazz has been one of those teams.

You all know whats gonna happen. Dont worry we will all lose this together. Almost each and every one us, (including me) will bet Utah +4.5 because its the correct move to make. The Lakers have been a complete joke lately. But because everyone is gonna be on Jazz, Kobe will drop 45 n lakers cover

I completely agree with both degen's and angrytiger's insight. GL all

Los Angeles - 113                                  Utah - 103

Lakers -5                                           Over

Utah one team the Lakers are chasing for a playoff spot. This is a critical game for the Lakeshow. They lose here at home you might as well put them on life support.

LA - OVER

I've been saying that for a couple months now.  This team is so sad because Kobe, Dwight, Gasol, and Artest are all still formidable players.  I'm so sick of hearing people say D'antoni is a good coach and just bad for this team.  Even in Phoenix they were never legitimate contenders for a title.  Phil wouldn't come back if they gave him ownership now.  Jerry Sloan?

I live in Utah, Sloan would never take those old sacks of crap. Besides, he hates them.

anyway, The Lakers did play the Spurs and Heat tough and we, the jazz tend to let crap teams beat us on the rd.

Get your emotions out of the Laker collapse. Bad teams win and cover all the time. This is a very good spot for them gentlemen.

Let me ask you a question. Would philly be laying 5 at home if they played the bulls tomorrow at home? Given both teams being rested? Because that's how off this line is, no they would not be laying five they would be a one or two point home dog, that's how far this line is off.

lay the 5. Utah will be victimized. by DD Stop trying to cap this (NBA) game.

A monkey beat Wallstreet experts on a 12 month portfolio. Lakers do have talent, When that surfaces is in question, I believe tonight is a disaster for the Jazz. Put your money on Utah but you're scared...I know it.

I think Gasol gets more time and focus on him tonight.....it will be enough to have a decent game at home for once.....they are due......that's the only reason I'll take em late night!!

Name recognition and talent are two very different things. Do the lakers really have talent? A banged up very ineffective dwight howard? Old and washed up artest and steve nash? Kobe bryant with no hops anymore at all? Gasol with his head in his behind hanging out at the three point line? Chris duhon  off the bench to spell an exhausted nash? I see a team that would have had talent five years ago, not a team with talent now.

I just don’t see Lakeshow beating ANYBODY BY FIVE POIINTS at this point in time…  No camaraderie at all right now…  Prove me wrong Vegas…  Don't have the balls to go Moneyline, but put me down for Utah plus the chalk for a Nickel Alex Trebek please…  Thanks!

Ty Corbin is absolutely pitiful…  He is clueless with situational substitution patterns…  Nice job Los Angeles and Under backers!
