#3 Posted: 5/25/2012 7:08:52 AM i already won 2 dimes on this series, cause i had okc +300 to win west before season started, and when sa was 1 game back of okc late in the season for the west in regular season for the 1 seed, i hedged and took sa +450 and +200 something, so i win 2 dimes either way.
my gut is telling me sa wins in 7
game 1 and 2 split
game 3 and 4 split
g5 sa wins
g6 okc wins
g7 sa wins |

#4 Posted: 5/25/2012 7:10:46 AM i like my hedge, cause if okc had the 1 seed i feel okc would win this series that how huge an extra game at home is, but sa stole the home court late in the reg season, and now they are hosting okc in this series
i dont see any way okc is better than 3-2 up at best going into a game 6
but it could be a possibly although i think unlikely that sa wins this series in 5 games. that would happen though if sa wins game 1 and 2 i beieve, and splits in okc, and comes back home and never loses in san antonio? that is possible
IT WAY MORE LIKELY SA HOLDS COURT AT HOME THAN OKC. I REMEMBER THE REG SEASON GAME IN OKC WHERE OKC LOST THEY WERE DOWN BY 30 OR SOMETHING AT ONE POINT IN THAT GAME? OKC MORE A JSUT SHOOTING TEAM, I JUST HAVE A FEELING SA WINS THIS SERIES |

#5 Posted: 5/25/2012 7:11:53 AM and until okc wins a west conference title im likely to bet on them in futures before the year every year, i did last year and hedged and this year too and im hedging on sa already
maybe next year when okc makes the west finals the 3rd time will be the charm??
SA VS MIAMI NBA FINALS 2012
OKC VS MIAMI NBA FINALS 2013?
OKC VS MIAMI NBA FINALS 2014?
god wouldnt david stern love that? i see it highly possible |

#7 Posted: 5/25/2012 10:07:55 AM I see betting opportunities after game one when home teams have to win to even the series and unders late in the series when defense is at it's best. In the meantime it'll be fun to watch. |

DUDE, ur baked if you think Durant is better then Lebron, Durant is miles away from being the defensive machine Lebron is, MILES. Durant has one up on Lebron (and it isn't by much) and that's 3 ptrs. You'll rarely see Durant hustle back the way Lebron does when it comes to defense, nor can Durant dribble thru defenders the way Lebron does. NOT EVEN CLOSE. |

MICKA466, I live in Okc, Ok. I've been here my entire freakin life. and I'm a BIG Durant fan. I called for Durant to be better than Oden back in 07 by a WIDE MARGIN. Having said that.....u couldn't be more correct. There is NO WAY in hell that Durant is better than Lebron. I can't even say that Durant is that much better than Kobe. The only advantage Durant has on Kobe is his age and the health of his knees. But Durant doesn't have even to this day the KILLER INSTINCT that Kobe has demonstrated for 16 years and counting. as far as Lebron is concearned.......let's just say...Pj702 needs to give us a call when Durant wins an MVP which hasn't happened....YET. We have people here in okc that are comparing Durant to Jordan and some are saying he's better than MJ. YEP drugs are killing our youth....... |

BTW okc was the 3rd YOUNGEST team in the league. I do see that you typed that Durant soon will be better than Lebron. Not sure about that. Remember....Lebron had an unbelievable east conf finals against Detroit in his 4th year and made the NBA finals by that time. Durant is in year 5 and may not even make the finals this year. Lebron's 1st 5 years > than Durant's 1st 5 years.....FACT Lebron has been better than Durant his first 9 years in the league. Lebron is better at passing, defense, rebounding, is obviously physically stronger..... and Durant is better at.....LONG DISTANCE SHOOTING.....that's it. Durant is Reggie Miller to Lebron's Magic/Bird Hybrid. sorry Magic/Bird hybrid > Reggie Miller reincarnated. |

#16 Posted: 5/27/2012 3:30:08 PM No brainer....SPURS -5.5 for the first game.Westbrook,Durant and harden vs duncan, ginobli, parker, jackson, leanard, diowp and 3 or 4 other productive YOUNG players off the bench for the home team.New territory for this young OKC team that played the aging Lakers and mavericks.True,Duncan is old and ginobli aint exactly a spring chicken, but unlike the lakers and mavericks they have a calvary of young productive players on the bench.

YEP, I would take Kobe before Durant as of "right now" for sure. Durant can nail the three's and give u the WOW factor with his dunks, but \when it comes to "D", or play making ex; passing, dribbling, there is no comparison. More energy from Lebron and Kobe any day of the week, and twice on Sunday's. SPURS WIN THIS ONE BTW! |

#22 Posted: 5/27/2012 8:20:33 PM Spurs-6 No way in hell Spurs lose game 1. Don't let it fool you Thunder only has ibaka that plays good defense perkins is slow. Westbrook and durant shots will look ill-advised and the spurs offense will be methodical. Spurs-6. Aside from james harden noone on the thunder bench is that good. Spurs are undefeated all playoffs!!!!!!!! don't get dazzeled by their superstars durant and westbrook. The spurs bench is so deep it's scary. Better Coach, better overall team, championship experience=spurs in double digits. |
