goodnes gracious people.. common sense that houston is the better team. but this game is all about motivation. houston coming off an overtime win within the division now travels on a short week and detroit two straight losing witin division; all that doesnt matter, its about who wants it more. Houston to clinch a berth or Detroit to hit the ground running because they cant afford to lose anymore. hence the other short lines in other games like sd/balt and no/sf. thats the problem.. how do we cap MOTIVATION!?

Pretty much every player from the Lions last year plays for them this year(anybody who was a factor). So it kinda does matter, and the Lions are a way worst team then they were last year. Yeah this situation is different for them but not for the better. Going up against an AFC team that can score heavily is not in there favor. Matt and CJ are struggling to score, CJ just had is 3rd TD on Sunday. This is a gut who was pretty much the best WR of football last year. I tend to stay away from trends, I can agree with you on that. But one trend that is without a doubt undeniable is that MADDEN CURSE!!!!

Texans -3.5

Houston 34 at Detroit 27

Houston now on a 9-1 staight up win run!  And last week, Matt ScHaub racked up no less that 527 YDs and 5 TDs to come back and take out Jacksonville, in an all-out, go-for-broke shootout!

Both teams dead-even on offense, but Houston has advantage on defense.  And with boiling hot ScHaub (2540 YDs and 18 TDs), must run with Houston (4-1 on road vs. spread).

Will try to parlay this one into tonight's Texas over TCU!

Houston minus 7 points over Detroit!

BOL and Happy Thanksgiving to All!

I took the Texans for a unit....

I feel like this is a TRAP so bad now though....it's up to -130

I have a weird feeling they don't cover.

Hopefully JJ WATTS can light it upp

Looks like the Lion's offense has exposed this weak secondary like the Jags did last week.  246 yards passing and 2 passing TD's already!

What a fun shootout!!!  Won't be surprised if this goes over in the 3rd quarter.
