The reality is Pats -7.5 w/ Juice -104 and +7.5, the juice is -111. |

I was surprised to see the line open at 9. I was expecting to see 7. It will be interesting to watch the line movements this week.

#7 Posted: 1/16/2012 11:50:44 AM I'm surprise that the Ravens make to playoff by this far. Their offense is horrible and defend is average. N.E will win this and cover this game easy.

#8 Posted: 1/16/2012 12:42:46 PM Ravens barely beat a 3rd string QB Texans thanks to future hall of famer Ed Reed. Their offense scored only 20 points against them. Ray Lewis is 41 and showing it. Rice is 38. Ed Reed is playing hurt and aggravated his injuries on that last play. No way they can score enough points to keep up with Bradys numerous options. Ravens dont have an answer to cover Welker, the gronk, and company. Everyone talks about the patriots D but they are healthy and the yards allowed stats are misleading because new rules in the NFL favor the offense. Patriots go to the bowl again. Brady gets his 4th AFC championship in 5 trips.

#11 Posted: 1/16/2012 3:56:25 PM i agree with what u guys are saying it looks like pats should roll over ravens. specially after seeing a 3rd string rookie qb pass on them easily. only INTs were his fault for throwing them up for grabs. and the one he threw where guy undercut it was just poor decision on tight coverage. take away the muffed punt and short field on the int and balt couldnt score and they woulda lost.
however. in the National Fixed League i think this is going to come down to a rematch of the coaching brothers Harbaughs. the rematch in the superbowl. the NFL will love this publicity.
i could be totally wrong as i was abt the steelers beating denver. but im just saying im taking any points ravens get and taking SF + or - points.
so even though pats should roll im leary abt the NFL.
good luck all

#12 Posted: 1/16/2012 4:14:33 PM Joe Flaccid SUCKS!!! N.E. has the better qb, coach and receivers. The Patriots defense stepped up against Denver. Remember when Indy won their super bowl? Their defense sucked all year and just turned it on in the playoffs. I like the Pats/Giants in a rematch. Good luck and enjoy the games. Sad its almost over.

Ravens +9 over 50
Ravens will find the going much easier this week facing a much softer Patriot defense. They will keep Brady in check enough to pull off the upset win in Mass.

#15 Posted: 1/16/2012 7:25:58 PM I will be in attendance for this game!
$130 for 9th row, upper deck, 40yd line!! What value!!
Lobsters and filet for lunch.
Sticking in bets on the Pats as soon as my line becomes available. Hoping for 7.5, but advise buying the hook down to 7 . I'll lay as far as -150 to get the critical number!
Small play on the over as well! Yes, Baltimore's highest total TY , but low enough for the Patriots go over! Ride it til the wheels fall off! 7 in a row have gone over for NE 8 of 9 .

Joe Flacco does not suck....
11 of his last 16 games he has played against a top 10 defense.... and New England does not have a top 10 defense
what's his record in his last 16?
This is an elite football team....
and the line is 9 points?
Ravens defense has a feel for this offense.....
with that being said.... NE was very impressive last week against a very good Denver defense.... NE defense was impressive against TEBOW.... I was amazed lol.....
however, Joe Flacco will have a great game..... and Ray Rice will not be stopped....
I would be surprised if Baltimore wins another game in Foxborough vs. Brady/Belicheck....
but 9 points to an elite team?
ALL DAY!
GL TO ALL!

THIS GAME WILL BE ALL ABOUT T.O.P. RAVENS STRUGGLE OFFENSIVELY ALL YEAR LONG AND THE PATRIOTS DEFENSE HAS BEEN ON THE UPRISE SHUTTING THE MEDIA UP. BRADY PUTS UP QUICK TDS AND FLACCO STRUGGLES TO MAKE 3RD DOWN CONVERSIONS.
FINAL, 28-17 NEW ENGLAND .

#18 Posted: 1/16/2012 7:38:57 PM Ravens +9, their front four will create enough pressure to disrupt the offense and keep this one close.
Rice has 150+ scrimage yds in this one too, GL |

#19 Posted: 1/16/2012 7:39:31 PM new england fan here! I totally agree with you breakabookie! I believe the the line is now at -7.5 at most places. Baltimore is a tough team and i'm a little skepitcal with New englands run defense. I believe ray rice will have a field day.
Defense wins championships

#20 Posted: 1/16/2012 9:19:21 PM Ravens beat the Texan in a classic defensive game. Offensive wise, Ravens with Flacco did not show up and it was luckie Whacco who got 10 pts serve to him on the plate. I love Harbaugh game plan, instead of pressure Yates, he allow Yates to throw the ball and make mistake and that how defensively they won the game. Pats, on the other hand, look like they are the 2004 Pats, Defensively they are sync and healthy who contribute 4 sack on Tebow. Offensive look superior and dangerous, too many weapons. I love the under on this game, there is no way this could go into the 40 pts range. I agreed Defense win championship but that is for the 49's or NYG, that not going to happen here with the Ravens with Whacco at the helm.
13-24 New England.

#21 Posted: 1/16/2012 11:19:18 PM The Ravens offense didn't look good against the Texans because the Texans have an outstanding defense. The Ravens had a tougher schedule than the Pats this year. Against playoff teams, they played 7 games and won all of them, they beat the Steelers twice, they beat Houston twice, they beat the Bengals twice, and they beat the 49ers 16-6. The Pats only played 4 games against playoff teams and lost two of them, one to the Steelers, one to the Giants, and they beat Denver twice.
There are several keys to beating New England, one is to put pressure on Brady. Another is to throw long passes to test their weak secondary. Flacco has the arm strength to do that. And of course the other is to run the ball and keep Brady off the field. The Ravens can do all of that.

#23 Posted: 1/17/2012 9:21:22 AM The 9 is a sucker bet. How do you give that much to the patriots vs the 2nd ranked playoff team and the public is jumping all over it??? The line should be 3 at most so go ahead and play ray and the boys but the victory lies in Pats and ov for the large!!!!!! |

#25 Posted: 1/17/2012 1:59:12 PM I took balt to win the afc championship @ 5 to 1. $1000 to me if balt wins.
I like the +9, I'm hoping Balt D hold it to a low scoring game and Flack can still on the feild. Otherwise NE may get it, Bardy looked on fire last game, he was mad at lack of attention pai.d to him |
