#30 Posted: 11/14/2011 9:20:10 AM I like points but green bay hasnt shown a lot of weakness for a long time. They are rolling right now and have done so mainly on the road which is impressive in the nfl.
Road underdogs with a week off following a win are 32-48 against the spread since 1990. Nice job detroit yesterday....Furious!!!!
Second, and more prominently, you have the Rodgers Effect. He's 29-14 against the spread since 2009. All he does is cover. Other than my man Brady and the old man broke neck payton, there isnt or wasnt in mannings case, much better for making the plays that pays son!!!! Green Bay and OV for the large!!!!!

#32 Posted: 11/14/2011 10:48:00 AM So many, many Packer homers. It makes my head hurt.

Does anyone here wager any longer? Or is it just a Packer circle jerk? |

You must be the "Captain" of the Titanic if you haven't figured out by now that McNabb isn't the QB in Minny anymore... |

their weakness is in their Deffense, A.Rodger can score points alright he has shown that weeks in and weeks out. But can their defense stop the opponents from scoring??? GB. average offense scored 34.2 and Deffense allowed 22.2 best bet for tonight is Over 50

#37 Posted: 11/14/2011 11:57:15 AM I like the over in this one but I think the Packers will focus on stopping Adrian and the Vikings will try to hammer the run on the Packers defense. That might just eat up a lot of the clock and force a lot of 3 and outs for the Vikings. It's not like the Vikings are weak on defense.
Leaning on the over or no play. |

#40 Posted: 11/14/2011 12:51:38 PM Ok here are my thoughts and concerns about this Monday night match-up of NFC North rivals the Green Bay Packers and Minnesota Vikings.
- In the first match-up in Minnesota, the Vikes were without Chris Cook and Antwone Winfield who are both expected to be back (even if just one is back that is a positive)
- Packers pass defense is, to put it lightly, sucking
- I hate this mentality but at 8-0, the Pack have everything against them
- Vikings coming off of a bye which has proven disasterous this year
- If anything happens to Adrian Peterson early in the game that would cause him to sit out, this cover is as good as cake...Packers by at least 20 (of course this is a big "if")
So as it stands, without injuries, I think the Vikings hang around enough to loss by about 10 points. And I like the OVER. But this game scares me too much so I'm gonna stay away from real money and just throw a small wager on Vikings ML +500
Maybe also throw a little down on the Packers winning the 3rd quarter...they make good adjustments at halftime |

#43 Posted: 11/14/2011 12:59:17 PM Should be on hell of a game. We might get our money's worth in a Monday night.
OVER is probably the only play.
I could see GB covering easy, but with GB's defense the back door is always wide open. |

#47 Posted: 11/14/2011 1:06:31 PM Last 10 meetings, the winner has won by 2td's only twice. i think this is too many points to give up. Additionally, Minn has only lost by more than 2 td's twice this season. I think I am going to take the points.

#49 Posted: 11/14/2011 1:19:37 PM Anybody remember San Diego's coach Don Coreal? He's philosophy was "A GOOD OFFENSE IS THE BEST DEFENSE".
Minnesota will get their yardage, but Green Bay will get their points on the board.
Green Bay -13 & over 49.5 |
