#3 Posted: 10/25/2011 5:52:26 AM 1st of all...I just want to give a Shoutout to the KC chiefs organization and their fans. I bet the HOUSE on Kc to cover last week against Oakland...and I admit and I was on pins and needles. To make it worse...I had to endure the harrssment of a certain computer nerd from the 702 (feel free to browse the antics of the kc v oak thread....) who swore up and down that a sorry behind Kc team couldn't compete with Oak in the black hole. who knew there would be a SHUTOUT.
Having said that...Kc beating up on a tired and depleted Oak team and winning 3 in a row tells me that Kc probably blew their wad and they need a refractory period. SD is probably chomping at the bit to prove their DOMINANCE in the afc west.
It's almost a LOCK OF DA DAMN WEEK take SD -3.5 on the road in KC....beating and sweeping them. and bet the OVER 44. I'm 85% sure one of these two things will happen. about 60% sure that both will occur. Kc winning 3 in a row against sorry arse teams doesn't cut it for me. something is fishy with this kc team. Hey computer nerd....this is the game to bet the house against KC. |

#5 Posted: 10/26/2011 4:03:43 PM The #1 question all NFL fans should ask, Is Philip Rivers injured? The guy is not the same, and he is making mistakes that Sanchez would considered perfectly okay.
KC offense is still not impressive, and asking a 5'9 Flowers to shadow a 6'5 wr all night can cause issues for him. Gates did not play game one, and that will be another issue for KC to deal with.
Taking the Bolts to give KC a trick, and you guys can cash your treat. |

#9 Posted: 10/27/2011 2:38:14 PM This is no easy pick
I'm in San Diego and have watched the Chargers fumble (pun intended) their way through the last several seasons under the "leadership" of Norv. In short, they have a few stars, but no heart and that is why they are so sporadic.
I look the games for winners in my Pick Ten pool, not so much points... So the things I'm considering for this game: the Chargers are a coin flip for almost any game and the KC crowed is always a factor. However, this is a division game and a good reason for the stars to show up and win the game. As for points, I expect them to win by 4 or if the defense shows up too, a couple touchdowns.

#16 Posted: 10/30/2011 11:19:32 PM Since betting is all about odds, this game is looking more and more to be in Kansas City's favor.
KC always step it up in October. Not sure why, but they do.
Two straight road wins, even though one of them was a hurting indi team. Still a road win.
Monday night home dog "with confidence".
SD definitely has injury issues.
Got to go with the better odds!
KC +3 wouldn't touch the over/under with a ten foot pool.

#19 Posted: 10/31/2011 1:34:57 AM I took KC CHIEFS +3 and the under of 44.5.
What I look for, is Rivers inconsistency to be a big factor in KC's win. As far as the last three games not being against worthy contenders and KC coming out with wins, just think of it as practice for them. It's doing well so far and I am confident that the chiefs will hold Rivers to one TD and a field goal to go with leaving the end score at KC 28-10 |

#20 Posted: 10/31/2011 2:06:52 AM Taking first 1st sd. If I win that then the play is 2nd half kc. Sd comes out strong but slows down a lot. Kc takes a bit to get started but they had 3 road games in a row (I think).
I lost badly on the cowboys tonight. Not sure if i am chasing but sd is the better team. Weather should be a non factor. Only thing that scares me is all the injuries on sd.
Pound for pound sd is better in everything but special teams. Kc will have a match up nightmare with gates. I'm hoping sd o line will give rivers some time to throw.
20 units SD first half. |

#23 Posted: 10/31/2011 10:12:16 AM Home dog on Monday Night Football pays gentleman. NOBODY gave Jacksonville a chance last week and we all saw what happened. I know this is not very logical reasoning or capping but I have been betting for awhile now guys and this is a trend that continues to pay. (expcept against Brady and Bellicheck) Plus KC seems to have it back on track and this is a big game with first place on the line. That place will be rocking tonight!

#25 Posted: 10/31/2011 12:05:18 PM I slept on it getting past the cowboys lost and I am looking at this game a different way with a fresh mind.
SD shoots themselves in the foot all the time. The SD running game will be lacking at the short yardage without Tolbert. Matthews can take the load but for how long in one of the loudest domes?
Rivers will connect to either jackson or gates. You can't stop them both. They are both about 6'4".. go figure.
This game will go under because watch out for the home crowd causing false starts and audible problems. Watch KC stuff the run (decently). Time for Flowers to shine on MNF that he has been waiting. They have been playing bad teams Vikings-->indi-->oakland. This SD team is still unproven to me. The bolts getting jolted in this game.
Im banking on Def and the home crowd. KC can show life and it seems the team is clicking.
Small play. 5 units all game |
