#53 Posted: 10/17/2011 6:48:10 PM We have a lot of problems on the Dolphins but here are some major ones..
1) Redzone offense pretty much stinks. I think cause Marshall cried to get the ball in the red zone he got force fed a lot. I think Henne felt obligated to get it to Marshall...would help if BMarsh caught the damn ball...Maybe with Moore in for Henne he won't feel so obligated to feed it to Marshall.
2) I don't know wtf happend to our defense. Once the offense gets past the Dolphins d-line it's cross your fingers time....poor tackling, dropped int's, blown coverages....just poor defense.
3) they need to stop trying to run Bush between the tackles...pass it to him on the flat and let him work from there. Balance out the run game with our one bright spot rookie Daniel Thomas. Bush is not a 25 carry per game guy.
4) We are 0-4...screw the damn field goals!! go for it and try to make touchdowns cause our once reliable kicker Dan Carpenter has been missing a few.
I'm hoping for a Dolphins victory...doubt it but I can only hope |

Sometimes a game just won't have an angle. If you're looking for a little action Jets-1 under 48 in a tease should have a decent shot!

#57 Posted: 10/17/2011 7:20:03 PM line is moving back in the right direction.....seeing lines at Jets -8.5 now on some books....
This is a tough game to cap....as Jets are home, but not playing good. Fins have backup QB in, (which might be a good thing) as Henne was Terrible (Sorry Big Daddy ) Bush cannot handle the load, but I suspect they will try to do that.....and they are not a "Redzone" team whatsoever. D is almsot non-existent....
If the Jets can limit the turnovers, I see a win of at least 10 points, however....we all know the "Dirty" Sanchez can do no such thing. I see an under game here as well, due to turnovers, running game, and bad coaching (as we saw in the St. Louis game...)
So.....i have:
Jets -6.5 (5 Units)
Under 41 (3 Units)
7 Point Teaser.....Jets +.5 Under 48 (5Units) |

#60 Posted: 10/17/2011 7:43:03 PM Miami on their second string quarterback this game is EASY. JETS win this game by at least 3 touchdowns maybe 4. GAME ON THE NIGHT GAME OVER THE YEAR. Marshall even wants to get thrown out by the second quarter. JETS WIN 31-9. THINK of the what the Bears did to the Vikings last night and the Jets will have the same out come. |

#62 Posted: 10/17/2011 7:56:40 PM bigdaddyhpd . I've been thinking JETS all day. For you my island brother I've had a change of heart. DOLPHINS win by a FG. I'm taking the MIAMI ML.

#67 Posted: 10/17/2011 8:17:47 PM Bad day yesterday friends. OUCH! What was right was left and so on...
Small play on Miami at +9 and over 41 1/2. Got The Miami at 9 a few minutes ago. I guess that means the steam is on the JETS.
Logic says JETS. Logic didn't work for person yesterday.
Mercy!! |

#70 Posted: 10/17/2011 8:30:04 PM Still the NFL where bad teams can show up as decent especially on MNF. Luck will look good as a Miami player next year though.

#73 Posted: 10/17/2011 8:44:05 PM My first instinct was to take the Phins just with the history or the rivalry. I just can't do it with Matt Moore behind center. Thomas playing should give a boost, but with Moore starting and Marshall bound to be stranded on Revis island I just can't picture my team scoring much. The Dolphin D hasn't been great this season, but a lot of D's look bad when you play Brady, Rivers and Schaub in 3 of your first 4. The Jets are much closer to the Browns who the Phins really should have beat. That was with Henne too. I think Moore makes some mistakes and the Jets probably get a big special teams play to cover. |

#74 Posted: 10/17/2011 8:53:42 PM Well, The JETS look like they are grounded....doing NOTHING at all. The Fins are actually not looking too bad....except that stupid play call on third and a foot.....pass against Revis....when your receiver is a 4th round draft pick....
