#3 Posted: 9/28/2011 10:04:02 PM I totally agree with you Mr. dddevin- sure is a "scary game" here. Here we have Wonder Boy Cam with his know it all smirk and his gaudy stats. He had better count "all" the wins this year- won't be to many of them! Then we have the Bears, an enigma of a team . Playoff caliber one week and scratch your head variety the next. Gad! Jay Cutler is like a Jeklyl and Hyde- never know who you'll get. But let's be real here shall we. The Bears have every right to smack around the woeful Panther- pisses all over Soldier Field, PROVIDED we get the "right" Mr. Cutler! Carolina was the worst team in the NFL last season, and still have an abundance of problems. 'Nuff said, already!
CHICAGO - 6.5 (Action Bet Only!) |

#5 Posted: 9/29/2011 7:05:09 PM I'm on DA BEARS at home.....
Chicago can stop the run and I like betting against rookie qbs on the road....
Bears will put up points and Carolina won't be successful running the ball in my opinion..... Bears D is solid against the run....
Da Bears -6.5
GL TO ALL!

#7 Posted: 9/30/2011 9:46:01 AM Bears are not a blowout team by any stretch of the imagination that being said Cam cant possibly sustain the numbers hes been putting up, but I think hes going to make a statement. Bears win but Camolina keeps it close.

#10 Posted: 9/30/2011 11:31:40 PM The over 43 might be the best play of the day in my books , reasonable number here Newton should get back to throwing it downfield on this team who can't stop anything right now, and Cutler is due for a breakout game in the air ,i think he has a huge day and the bears roll here as this is a very important game for them after 3 really tough opponents to start the year...they do not want to go 1-3 heading to Detroit for the monday nighter the follwing week Bears will be focused and should take care of business. |

#12 Posted: 10/1/2011 11:27:04 PM When these two last met a year ago, the QB matchup featured Todd Collins and Jimmy Clausen, producing a Sominex-like 23-6 score in favor of Collins’ Chicago. Now, it’s Jay Cutler vs. Cam Newton, with the latter dynamically altering the formerly-staid Panther attack and having already burned the Cards & Packers for 400+ YP. But Cam’s learning curve slowed a bit last week vs. the Jags, and the rookie now has to deal with Lovie Smith’s Cover-2 defensive variations. The Bears are stepping down in class after facing Saints (Drew Brees) & Packers (Aaron Rodgers) back-to back. Mike Martz should get Bears ground game going vs. the injured Carolina LB corps. Cam Newton meets Julius Peppers!
Bears 31 – Carolina 17
Chicago -6 1/2 and Over 43
