Ravens +2.5 over 37
I'm not buying that the Jets are the team to beat in the AFC.
RAVENS PLUS THE 2.5 FOR ME. |

#4 Posted: 9/4/2010 4:03:10 PM Going with the Ravens here plus the points. Jets O hasn't shown much of anything this preseason especially Sanchez. Jets D may be able to contain Flacco, Boldin, and Rice but for how long? Ravens have a pretty potent offense to go with their defense. Ed Reed isn't playing but does that really matter if Sanchez is throwing inconsistently. Have the Jets ever beat the Ravens in the regular season? |

and I like the Ravens plus the points....
scary to say the JETS could easily go 0-2 and have a 10-6 season

#11 Posted: 9/7/2010 2:18:01 PM NYJ -3 (1unit) - Rex knows Flacco as his ex-coach, that and Revis in the defensive backfield spells trouble for the Ravens. Ravens 10-Jets 17.

#13 Posted: 9/7/2010 7:04:25 PM JETS WILL GET IT DONE HERE. I DONT CARE WHO THE RAVENS BROUGHT IT AT WR. WITH THE ADDITION OF CROMARTIE TO GO ALONG WITH THAT STOUT DEFENSE. I LIKE IT, AND LETS SEE A GOOD SEASON OUTTA BRAYLON THIS YEAR. HANG ON TO THE BALL FOR SANCHEZ AND PROVE THOSE DOUBTERS WRONG! |

#14 Posted: 9/7/2010 8:06:18 PM Will have to side with the Jets here. Don't worry about Sanchez. Flacco is not ALL THAT either!! Jets finished with one of the better "D's" LY- can pick up where they left off. Jets to cover late with an improbable "smoke and mirror" play!

#15 Posted: 9/7/2010 9:43:38 PM I think Ray Rice is an overrated featured runningback. To win this game Ravens are going to have to have a consistent threat on the ground to open the passing game on the blitz happy Jets defense. Flacco should keep them in the game with his receiving threats and possibly win it on late game heroics, but I see the Jets winning this FG type situation. Gonna watch that line- see which way she sways. Wouldn't be surprised to see a shift there with the Revis signing, Hard Knocks airing, & all the public/media sh*t going on with the Jets lately. |

#16 Posted: 9/7/2010 9:48:24 PM That is a low O/U at 35.5 for MNF even with these 2 strong defenses. Turnovers along with Special Teams play will probably push the total over. Gonna watch it to see if the public brings it down to 35 or may just buy it down if I see any sign of movement upward. GL |

#18 Posted: 9/9/2010 6:45:06 PM this wont be the last time these two teams meet this year. we can be watching an AFC championship preveiw. i really think these two teams are very similar. both with very hard hitting , make you cough up the ball , make running backs hide , no nonsense , smack ya momma in the mouth defense. they both have a great O line and they both can run the ball with 2 or 3 different backs. also both teams have young QB`s with talent around them. very equal teams here but i think that flacco and the ravens offense are just a lil bit better then the jets.
tough game to play. the game will come down to special teams and turnovers.

#23 Posted: 9/11/2010 10:47:07 PM Jets overated after last yearlost Running back who was top 3 in NFL for previous 4 years Edwards still ? Sanchez still ? hes small right Ravens good adding 2 star wide freakin recievers! Old man Mason is a bench warmer now Rice now respected is Reed playing? Lewis is. Ravens here large the Jets were a toilet 2 years ago. Again Ravens now with 2 recievers and Mason for 3rd down, Reves cant man all these guys and Rice will pound up the middle. |

#25 Posted: 9/12/2010 1:02:46 PM Baltimore WILL WIN this game!!!! Jets defense was REALLY good last year (Might not be as good this year!!). Baltimore's DEFENSE has PROVEN for a LONG time that they are & WILL continue to be GREAT...They have Ray Lewis for a leader!!!! I see the Ravens STOPPING the Jets offense & their half behind WHINY QB Sanchez!!!!! Pressure is on the Jets this year...I DOUBT that they will be able to handle it & be as successful as last year!!!
Final Score: Baltimore: 21 NY Jets 10
