Way too much experience on the Sooner side of the ball to be laying 4.5 points. Stoops will have his team ready, especially playing against a team he is quite familiar with.

OU will give the college football world the blueprint for containing j football and sumlin's system offense... and its not going to be pretty...

As as OU, my scoring predictor makes OU a 5 pt favorites winning 44 - 39. Also, public consensus is all over TAMU ( which makes OU a contrarian play as well ). The line movement appears to be sharp money coming in on OU ( as a underdog ) while my sharp /square ML predictor is leaning to OU. This is the same general set up that I had with my call on Syracuse over West Va. Will check in closer to kick off to see what size my bet will be but it is looking like a 2 unit play on OU>

Saving the best for last, this looks like the best pick of all the bowl games to me. OU has beaten TAMU often when they were in the BIg 12 ( admittedly that was before Sumlin and Manziel arrived ). OU knows how to score on the Aggies and the Ags have usually had trouble defending the OU offense with Landry Jones. Stoops bowl record is troubling but he has won the last few and hasn't choked a big one since the West Va loss in the Fiesta Bowl. OU didn't even try to recruit Manziel which is an interesting revenge angle if you like TAMU ( which I don't but it is interesting),.

Public likes TAMU but the early money came in on OU. This a classic reverse line movment and will hit about 60% of the time because it indicates that the money being bet is probably sharp and not square. I said " probably " because no one can tell for certain. But it is highly likely.

Never show up in bowl games ? Really ? That was true up until the WVA OU blow out in Fiesta. Since then, I believe OU had won and covered three straight ( Stanford in Sun, U Conn in Fiesta and I forgot who they played last year )
