#5 Posted: 12/12/2012 1:54:47 AM This one is simple for me, no matter who I pick when betting on a Mich State game, I always get the wrong one, so I now bet against on principle and have been more right than wrong. TCU wins. |

Sparty +2.5 under 41
Sparty defense held Boise & Wisconsin to 13 pts, don't see why they can't do the same here. Two TD's by the Spartan offense should be enough to get it done in the Buffalo Wild Wings Bowl
Michigan St - Under

#8 Posted: 12/29/2012 2:20:25 AM I have never been a fan of Mark Dantonio, but TCU cannot pass the football at all… I think this will be a defensive tussle for 2.5 quarters and Sparty pulls away at closing time for the straight up win. With that said, keep the points and put me down for Michigan State on the Moneyline (+110) for a Dime Alex Trebek please. Thanks! |

#10 Posted: 12/29/2012 2:24:45 PM MSU looks like a very strong play in this spot for the following reasons 1. Strong public consensus on TCU ( contrarian play on MSU ) 2. My score predictor makes it MSU 24, TCU 13. 3. No significant line move in toward either team ( this can change before kickoff however ) 4. My Sharp / Square money line indicator does not have a clear play but is definitely leaning to MSU. 4. Covers Team Experts like MSU by more than the expected SI consensus ( means a play on MSU ), I will be making a 2 unit play on Mich State. May also make a 1 unit play on money line depending on late line move action.

#11 Posted: 12/29/2012 4:36:28 PM TCU's D is more battle tested than the overrated Michigan State's D. TCU d has faced high octane offenses like Oklahoma, Oklahoma St, Baylor, West Virginia, Kansas St, Texas Tech. Yet, they are ranked 18th in the nation overall in total defense. That's pretty damn good. Also, Michigan St offense isn't exactly high octane as they are ranked 90th overall in total offense. Don't overthink this game. TCU wins by 7-10 pts. |

#14 Posted: 12/29/2012 6:25:29 PM I have watched both teams play an MSU offense sucks. TCU has to much speed on both sides of the ball. Speed kills.TCU wins by 10 or more. |

#18 Posted: 12/29/2012 8:19:09 PM These two teams are a combined 9-15 vs the number and 6-16-1 vs the total. If I were forced to bet this game with more than a few bucks with the alternative being, stab myself in the eye with a pencil, I'd choose the old #2. In any event the only play appears to be a small one on MSU and another small play under the total. GLTA. |

What? Public money pouring in on Michigan State? I have $150 on TCU! But now that I know big money is going onto Michigan State? That means I have to increase my bet on TCU to $300! Thanks for that tip!

#25 Posted: 12/30/2012 12:19:14 AM Combato, that steam alert didnt seem to have much effect once again. I find your posts helpful, but I do not necessarily think that all late money is smart money. |
