#5 Posted: 12/17/2012 4:52:41 PM Blake has it right. Nebraska is a bad team against a very, very good Georgia team. Also, don't expect Georgia to show any mercy here. Dawgs -10

Cornhuskers +10 under 59.5
One simple statement- Aside from Florida,,, Georgia beat up on a lot of middle of the road sec teams. Not worty of laying double-digits against the Huskers.

#8 Posted: 12/27/2012 3:17:19 AM I think Nebraska will come ready to play. Georgia has suffered a great loss of perhaps their best defensive lineman for this one because of academic reasons. Nebraska will run run run in a most likely low scoring affair. Nebraska +10 and ML |

#9 Posted: 12/28/2012 2:50:51 AM Dawgs run away with this one. Wisconsin threw the ball only 10 times and put up 70 on Nebraska. 550 yards on the ground by the Badgers. I'm sure run defense has been a main focus in practice for the Huskers, but there's only so much you can do with what you've got. Oh, and by the way: Martinez can't throw, and he won't beat this Georgia defense with his legs. Georgia (-10) |

#10 Posted: 12/28/2012 10:20:00 PM Dawgs -10...Georgia is the better team and will be motivated to end the season on a high note. close for a half, then UGA pulls away in the 4th and wins by 3 TDs... |

#11 Posted: 12/29/2012 10:55:58 AM I cant put money on taylor martinez, besides i think georgias a far superior team. Only question for me is how motivated will they be to play in this bowl when they cudve went to ncaa title game. If it wasn't for that huge looming question this spread would be 13. |

#12 Posted: 12/29/2012 2:48:51 PM Both teams are ripe to bet against. Georgia had a chance to play for NC and now they end up here. Nebraska thought they were headed to Rose Bowl but end up here. The movable object meets the resistible force. I actually have 3 ( and may have up to 4 by game time ) that point strongly to Nebraska. My score predictor makes it a 31- 31 game which would mean take pts with Neb. Consensus is heavy on Ga which also means Neb. My early look at the sharp / square money line predictor also likes Nebraska. My only decision yet to make is this a 1 unit or a 2 unit play. I will not play Nebraska on the money line, only the point spread.

I would have to disagree that Georgia is a motivated team in any way. True they MAY be more motivated than Nebraska but they were 30 seconds away from playing ND in the big game. And they end up in this lower tier lower visibility game against a less glamorous opponent. I agree that if GA gets their motor running, the could destroy Nebraska but that is not what I anticipate happening.

#14 Posted: 12/30/2012 4:46:27 AM I think UGA is motivated. they have had a month to get over the loss. Nebraska has an outstanding tradition and tough they got whipped in the BIG X C Game, they still command respect. UGA was not motivated at the start of the season and they played down to their opponents, I think they will want to finish the season on a high note, possibly ranked in the top 5, by blowing out a respectable Nebraska team. |

#15 Posted: 12/30/2012 4:49:50 AM in addition, UGA lost to Mich St last year, another Big 10 team...I think the DAWGS will open a can of whoop behind on the Huskers and it won't be pretty... |

The line drop made me take a closer look at this one,and crazy as it seems I'm now liking the Bulldogs to cover the single digit spread. They are bringing much more to the table here, and like lonhhorn stated the revenge factor comes into play. I'm looking for a strong defensive effort from Georgia (better than I first thought) which will result in a Bulldog win and cover.
Georgia - 39 Nebraska - 17
Bulldogs -8.5 under 59.5
After 2 syraight bowl losses it would be unwise to bet against the Bulldogs here.
Georgia - Under

#24 Posted: 1/1/2013 11:56:24 AM Listen the game is not that tough the only concern I have is the yards per pass attempt There is 2 yard difference ... but lets not forget Nebraska is the number one pass defense in the country ..Lets get back to basics boys ....Nebraska ..-8.5 |
