Emotional game for Horns...longtime coach and former living legend Darrell Royal died this week.  He was royalty in Austin and deeply loved by many...the stadium is named after him.

Will be a ceremony deal and the Horns will open in the Wishbone offense to honor his memory.

Also, Iowa St. lost their leading tackler last week and a starting DB has been ruled out as well.  

Horns defense is still very vulnerable even after stepping up last week.  The Cyclones will be able to pound the ball on them.  On the flip side, ISU's defense is not what it seems in the yards department.  In the last three games they've given up 550+ yards per game.

Texas will win and ride their momentum from last week and the emotion over Royal's passing.  However, Iowa St. is know to be well-prepared, disciplined and play very hard football.  They don't get blown out by anyone they've played.  If I had to lean it would be with Iowa St. and the 10 points.  Best play here is to pass.

 Darrell Royal was a great man and coach. Unfortunately, Texas is no longer the power it once was when he was at the helm.

Gotta go with Vue on this one.. Taking the points w/ Iowa State.. I believe their running game will keep Em in this one, especially in the 2nd half.. Iowa State +10.5 is my final play for $300.. Best of luck guys

Pretty bold to follow the VUE. Iowa St will be kicking FG's all day and will have trouble scoring in the Red Zone. Texas is coming together at the right time. ISU is weak without their main tackling LB out. Texas all day.
