#3 Posted: 10/1/2012 12:05:31 AM I'm not going to call it easy money but you are right, the wrong team is favored in my opinion ! The Tigers have been exposed, and lets not forget they have an idiot for a head head ! Mettenberger is not the QB we thought he was and without protection we all see how he throws while moving !
Put me down for that FG worth of chalk on the home team !
I bet with my head not my heart !

A "field goal worth of chalk"?
Does this stooge know the home team is the underdog? Where do they find these clowns?....
LSU wins by 2 TD's. They'll be up for this game after overlooking Towson

BKG: exposed? I will admit we have lifted up the covers and well, it is not quite what we thought we left the bar with BUT...Mettenberger is new to the sec, (his time at Georgia cannot be counted) he will adjust. LSU suffered a huge loss (Faulk) on the o-line and that is hurting their ability to protect the young qb, again they have the depth to adjust. He is a pocket passer and has great pocket presence, we all have seen what LSU can do with a decent pocket passer that LIMITS mistakes. He is the back-up in seattle (flynn).

#9 Posted: 10/2/2012 12:30:27 AM Line is currently correct as posted (-2.5). The Tigers efforts against Towson appear to be lackluster. I personally feel they were just going thru the motions against a weak opponent. QB is a ? ,but a superior defense will keep them in games. Florida's 38-0 shellacking over Kentucky is not "statistically impressive" over Kentucky. Being asked to win by a FG, is not asking a hell of alot. Don't see the Gators doing any upsetting this week!

Definition: Chalk is another name for the favorite when used by sports bettors. Example: LSU -2.5
So if you're "taking the chalk" you're betting on the favorite (LSU). Educate yourself, nitwit

#11 Posted: 10/2/2012 3:00:37 AM I see the LSU defense rising up for this game. LSU wins a tight one in the swamp & barely covers the spread.
Final score: LSU 21 Florida 17

Actually, if you bet on the favorite, you are "laying the chalk."

#15 Posted: 10/2/2012 10:46:55 PM They may have been going through the motions but this is not the LSU of last year. Florida wins here. Under seems like a good play so far but research is far from complete. Lines has moved from -3 to -2.5 and -44.5 to -44. We'll see what happens from here on out.

Ture, but you have to remember we're dealing with a simpleton here. The guy doesn't even know what chalk means. If you start throwing new words (to him) like 'lay' in mix you'll get that clown's head spinning
Next thing you know he'll be "laying the dog" in one of his next posts.

#18 Posted: 10/3/2012 10:37:37 PM LSU isn't scared to play down to an opponent, but their defense is 3.5+ better than FL. LSU is my pick based on run-stopping alone. |

#25 Posted: 10/4/2012 12:51:09 PM There is something missing with this LSU team, they may be the 4th best team in the SEC, certainly not Top 5 based on their season so far. It wasn't just Towson where they looked out of sync. That said, the LSU defense is much better than a mediocre Florida offense. Florida's defense looks capable of slowing down a struggling LSU offense which has yet to show any consistency.
I think this game is pretty equal and should go down to the end with one play deciding it either way. The better bet here is definitely the UNDER. Medium play for me.
