#3 Posted: 9/17/2012 8:58:26 AM Auburn is terrible, but they always play LSU close. I'll watch the line movement on this one. LSU's 1st road game !!

#4 Posted: 9/17/2012 11:31:59 AM I don't which unit is worse for Auburn, the offense or the defense. Hate to use the word "lock" on anything regarding football betting but this is very close at any number beloe 3 TDs. Auburn's QB is very confused in this offense and the defense isn't anywhere near where it was expected to be. They were not surprised by ULM after they had beated Arky on the road, they just could not stop them. Add two levels of athleticsm and you have what they will see on Saturday from LSU.
The Auburn fanbase is so down on this team that home field advantage will be less than you would normally expect. I think LSU wants to send a message against a better "perceived" opponent, plus settle some old scores with this rival. Auburn is not as good as the Washington team LSU trounced eaarlier this year. Lay the points.
I like LSU -18 Four unit play |

#5 Posted: 9/17/2012 1:43:54 PM macallan... I agree with you up until your last statement. The fans will fill the stadium and cheer madly for auburn as lsu is one of their biggest games every year. Also, Auburn matches up much better with lsu than washington did. They are stronger in the trenches, and that is what's important against a team like lsu. I do happen to think Auburn always gets too much love, but you have to look at individual matchups. Haven't picked a side yet, but those are just my initial thoughts.

#6 Posted: 9/18/2012 12:27:40 PM osu, I am not questioning the loyalty of the Auburn fans that will show up, or the game atmosphere at Jordan-Hare, but there is a GREAT deal of undercurrent in the fanbase about this team, and this coachng staff. What I am saying is there is a big difference in the passion of a crowd that cannot wait for a big game to be played, and one that is dreading it. You may be tentative and nervous when you think it is a big game you have a chance to win, but that isn't what I am hearing from Aubies, and it has been going on for two weeks. They know they will not win, and I would bet a lot more LSU fans will have bought tickets from fans that are not going this weekend. Not a major thing, but don't expect the noise to be the factor it would be in past years...and I predict a crowd that will file out early. Just an opinion. |

Totally disagree Auburn may not stand a change but the Auburn boosters are the strongest in the south and there is no way to many are giving up their tickets to LSU fans thats for sure! |

#9 Posted: 9/18/2012 5:02:29 PM Not worth arguing about Bluefin, but I live among many Auburn fans, and you are off on this one, imo. And that doesn't even touch the crazy message board groups. I can tell you there are many selling their tickets. That is not to say they will not have a big turnout, hell it's the SEC, the stands will be mostly full even when they are disenchanted. You may want to check a couple of their message boards to get a taste of the sentiment. Great passion in the SEC but when they turn..... Very questionable if they make a bowl at this point, isn't playing well with the boosters. |

Don't over think this game. Auburn's defense get zero pressure from the DL. LBs and DBs play a deep cushion and everything underneath is open. They will pound the defense with the run and open up any and every throwing lane.
Expect to see lsu load the box and pressure Frazier into bad throws. Turnovers will once again bite Auburn in the butt.
for my team but in the pocket. |

#12 Posted: 9/19/2012 7:59:40 PM lol, this game is going to be sooo much closer than people think. The public is on LSU big time, and vegas loves making their money on the public being wrong. Auburn will play their best game so far this year (although it couldnt be any worse) but they step up here at home and make a statement that they can potentially be a good team. Not saying necessarily that they will win, but this game will be close through the 4th quarter. Expect some trickery early on to take an early lead... |

This game has 42-10 written all over it....good to see someone actually on Auburn, but they get crushed. |

#18 Posted: 9/21/2012 10:53:32 PM No play for me. With it being a high profile game and LSU's first rd game, I think Auburn could step it up on defense and maybe bust out a few runs. LSU should be able to take advantage of a team with a terrible offense though. 21 pts is just too much for me to rely on the tigers. |

Twice you posted how Auburn always plays LSU close...LY LSU won by 35. You call that close?
LSU covers this with superior talent. |

Auburn good revenge team. I don't know if they can win su, but 20.5 looks mighty tempting to me.
